In my opinion it isn't a good look for the club allowing speculation to roll on like this without acting. It's like they are the last to know Gerrard is done and we want Poch. Maybe Purslow has ignored the memo sent out?! Either way the die is cast and leaving Gerrard in post much longer will do more bad than good.

To be honest despite me wanting him gone, I couldn’t care less if he was drunk or not in that pub with his friends and family.  it’s his personal time, not really in a public promoting setting aside from social media means no celebrity is not constantly in public eyeline.  I don’t drink anymore, i don’t frequent pubs or social clubs anymore but it’s a place people go and relax so I have no issue with it.  Only if it affects his work the next day would I have an issue.

I want him gone, but aside from the “he’s left the club conversation” the rest of his time there I couldn’t give a damn about.

Normally I would agree but if it was last night then we are 3 days out from a huge 6 pointer

I was just about to post something similar in frustration!

GET OUT OF MY CLUB!!!

That feels better.

Hopefully they’re just setting up the meeting… and arranging the set…

Come on Nassef, do the deed…

Still three days and not the night before or two nights before.  He’s not a player that it affects his fitness.  I’ve been on the same page as you for so long on wanting Gerrard out but this isn’t an issue for me much.

I haven’t been as anti Gerrard as you guys but if, (and it’s a very big IF) he was on the lash the day after a defeat and a few days before a massive game I wouldn’t be happy at all as his employers.

Hasn't that photo already been debunked as being fake, old news?

Interesting! Just shows the different perspectives.  As long as it didnt affect his next day duties, it doesnt bother me.  Obviously different for players because their fitness is their business but managers and staff, it's no biggy for me.  If he turned up with a massive hangover I would have a big issue but otherwise no issue.  I suppose it's more normal in my industry where discussing contracts over the space of a few days or more, you tend to socialise somewhat with clients at night and while never getting drunk we have a few drinks and then back to the grind of discussing the contract the next morning at 8am.  I'm not currently doing that type of work at the moment but it was very successful part of my career and building client relations and business.  This is different because he's having (or not having) drinks with his family and friends but it's still drink, food? and socialising at night with work the next day.

Make no mistake Gerrard will be gone, as will Liz Truss- in both cases, it is  when rather than if.

One taking a great club into oblivion

the other selling the country down the toilet

But both equally inept

One is a t*t

The other has a great set of t*ts

Pub have confirmed it’s him. Mainstream media picking up on it now. Well, I say mainstream.. The Daily Mail.

Not a great look - not because he’s not allowed a social life but because he does look absolutely hammered.
