theboyangel
music every time. films can't have the same emotional impact as music Have you seen Beaches??? - makes me cry evertime :winkold: :winkold: :winkold: I am only joking - music for me! A film lasts at least 90mins but with music you can chuck on a couple of tunes or play for hours into the night. Also you can crack on with other things whilst music is playing but no with a movie (unless you're watching one of Rob's 'special' films  )
zippy178
Music every time. There is such a sheer variety in music compared to film (I believe). Music also has a way bigger back catologue.
Designer1 Posted May 20, 2008 VT Supporter Share Posted May 20, 2008 Hard choice as I'm addicted to both but I would give the edge to movies.
Grant(aka_eddy)
I put films initially on the basis they are escapism, contain music anyway and are a vehicle for creativity and presenting ideas and themes (moreso than music which does it to a lesser degree). But so much of my social scene revolves around music that i'd struggle to replace this, plus there are always books for escapism and presenting ideas to people. Very tough call but i'd keep music. briggaman
I love them both so much, and couldn't do without either to be honest. Yet, if I had to choose, then it would be films. They take me away from the real world. Also I want to become a film director, which would push me towards films too.

leviramsey Posted May 21, 2008 VT Supporter Share Posted May 21, 2008 Music. Without music, there would be no film scores, and for me, the score is a major part of a film!
