Outs - Kallinic £2m, Taylor free, Elmo free, Engels £7m, Conor £7m, Barkley end loan, Trez £8m, Davis £5m = Total £29m

Ins - Young LB £10m, Young CH £10m, Centre Mid £30m, ACM £30m, RW £30m = Total £110m

Into Squad - Kessler, Chuck, Barry, Bidace, Wesley

Leaner squad with more opportunities for the younger players. More quality in starting 11 and consequently a better bench.

New starting 11 - Emi, Targett, Mings, Konsa, Cash, Sanson, CM, ACM, Jack, RW, Ollie.

One of my first buys is another striker as an alternative.

Absolutely mental suggesting that and no striker. Crazy.

A different striker is going to make zero difference if we're not creating. We need more players who see passes and can thread a ball through first.

You think we are going to spend a load of cash on a striker to sit on the bench? That’s mental my friend!

Hoping Wes and Traore can fill that void. I just think we have many more pressing needs elsewhere.

I think it’s our joint most important need along with another quality creator (probably RW).  Who knows how Wes is going to come back, I’m very hopeful but we (IMO)desperately need another quality striker.

If we only brought those two positions in the summer I would be disappointed in our summer business but relieved.

I don’t disagree but if you don’t have anybody on the end of them what’s the point.  If Ollie isn’t there we are stuffed.  No point doing the hard work we nobody to take advantage.  Also if things aren’t working like last night you need a different strategy/alternative and thus type of striker.  Plus Ollie looked knackered/out of sorts last night.

Do you think we will sign another expensive striker to sit on the bench? Or move Ollie to the bench? I suspect we will give Wesley every opportunity to be that back up striker after spending over 20m on him.

Yes because they’d get good game time.  Keeping Ollie fresh will benefit him especially when we play more games.

I just think that if we have a functioning team providing the ammo to Ollie, then Ollie will naturally have to work less because we will be better at controlling possession. He won’t need to rest because he will be naturally fitter.

Also, at times when Ollie is injured, if we have the right players everywhere else, we will miss him less and hopefully Wes/Bert/Barry can fill in. Scoring is not an issue for us. Creating is what we are rubbish at. One of the players we bring in needs to be a set piece specialist. We are zero threat from free kicks and corners.

We have to stop thinking of the bench if we want to play at the next level up.  You look at the teams around us like Spurs, Arsenal, even Liverpool this season and they have a number of strikers.

All get game time....our fans are so tuned to just the first XI having to be set rather than a squad of players that all get large game time.  We have to start thinking at a higher level than we are, otherwise will suffer burnout which we seem to be suffering now with our poor form.

But all of Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs have a history of being in Europe and being able to give chances to multiple strikers. I realise it's a chicken/ egg thing but when we have more obvious gaps I think we'll be looking to fill those first.

If we want to stay a mid table team this is a fine strategy but teams above us have more than one Ollie, have different styles of striker.

Plus is Ollie really going to work less, it’s not in his nature.  We do need to do better around him but he’s still going to work as hard as he is, it’s just his nature.

We aren’t going to challenge for top six if we don’t have a strong squad.  We don’t know how Wes is going to Rey turn but even if he does well, we still need another. Traore is ok as a desperate need in central but if we are serious I’m not sure it’s a strategy and Barry needs to brought in over time and next season will be too early for any serious time.

I think it's almost a guarantee we will spend a lot of cash on a striker that will spend some time on the bench.

I guess we just differ on what our obvious gaps are.

Given the owners I’m guessing this summer they’ll be fulfilling both our issues anyway, so we be having a pointless discussion😁

As for those teams we can’t wait to be in Europe to get those players because we won’t get there without those players.  Look how are fading now because we don’t have much outside of our first XI.  That game last night was there for the taking but we didn’t have quality alternatives in positions you refer to and I refer to to take it.

That’s 2 points lost and there are more from other games.  We are only 5 points from sixth place...we have lost that because we haven’t created and scored enough in the last few months.  After Ollie, there is a massive drop to Jack and Anwar to goals scored.  We need other who can score.

We already have. His name is Wesley.

I think we’ll be buying another, not least because we don’t know how Wes is going to come back plus we’ll be replacing Davis when he goes.

I am very happy with this if we get the players to supply the strikers as well. We need to sort out the supply first. Once we have done that they we can add to the strength.

Think we will end up going with Wesley as the #2 option for the striker position next season as we also have other spots to fill that will cost money. And we did invest a huge sum in bringing him here.

Ideally I'd like to see Wesley going out on loan for the season to get as much time on the pitch as possible and us bringing in another striker to compete with Watkins. Not impossible and I guess it will depend on what's available on the market.
