I think it's 16:30 kick-of

According to flashscore the starting eleven is...

James Wright, Sil Swinkels, Aaron O'Reilly, Kerr Smith, Frankie Ealing, Todd Alcock, Jay-Taylor Hart, Ted Rowe, Charlie Pavey, Charlie Lutz, Brad Young...

Not sure who is on the bench, might just be that the whole squad is available, Kadan Young definitely there with them.

That should have been a card for the foul on K Young, Young was on the floor and the player was falling into him which he couldn't help but purposely pushed his knee into Kadan's rib cage as he fell, was clever in a way as unless right by it or without the benefit of replay probably didn't look intentional, if ref saw it could have perhaps should have been a red card, going in on someone's ribcage like that can cause a serious injury.

Hopefully injury isn't too bad, looked in pain on the bench after he had to come off..

Frustrating game to watch, first half because we weren't very good, second half because we played a lot better but couldn't take our chances, on another day could have scored five or more. Some good performances, K Young looks a standout once again, bad foul on him for his injury which showed how much he was frustrating them.

It was Katsukunya playing right-back in the second half, I don't think that's his normal position though.

Kadan Young looked outstanding when he came on

Thanks useless, I think Katsukunya is usually a centre back I think but he played at right back when he came on, he looked good I thought

That U19 team had only 2 players that would arguably get into our best u19 team. Brad Young and Swinkels.

Marshall 19 Kesler 19 Swinkels  18 Feeney 18 Chrisene 18 AJ 19 Iroegbunam 19 Bogarde 18 OReilly 18 Barry 19 Young 19

Thats good news really.

Before you even to the those involved with the senior squad, the likes of Patterson, Barnes, Barber, Kellyman, Wilson, Burchall, and Shakpoke, would probably get into our best U19 ahead of some of the players that have started these last two games.

Looked better defensively today, I think playing with actual specialist left-back and right-back helps in that regard, whereas yesterday we were playing with a central defender at right-back, and a right-back at left-back.

Not offering much going forward though, I think it's showing that most of our best U18 attackers are missing for whatever reason, not much in the way of creativity for Brad Young to feed on.

I think Pavey on the bench is meant to be a decent creative player, I've seen highlights of him and he looks talented, but still very young, and for his age looks small, so might be hard for him to come off the bench and make an impact in a game like this, pity K Young got that injury yesterday, hopefuly isn't out for too long.

Revan just sent off for using his hand to block a goal, replays aren't very good but not sure how he could have helped that, the ball was blasted straight at him. Been quite a few strange decisions. They've taken the lead from the penalty.

Watched both games. Unlucky to go home with 0 points after a good overall performance in the first game and what looked like a shocking decision to award the game winning penalty and a red card in the second. A couple of observations about the players:

Young - only got to see him briefly but still stood out. Not only does he have great dribbling skill and balance, but he has the vision and final ball at the end of each run. Exciting player.

Katsukunya - I can see why the club have brought him in. Tall, athletic, good balance.

Smith - reminded me a little of Declan Rice in the first game in particular with his ability to bring the ball forward.

One or two others had promising displays over the two games - Mitchell, Hart, Lutz, Swinkels, Revan.

Pierre and Young seem taller than I remember last season.

Just a shout out for our academy.

We are bringing through lots of players now but what is most inpressive is that we are likely to have 3  that joined us aged 6 and are now either in the squad or pushing for it.

JJ joined at 7 , Kesler at 6 and Cameron at 6 .

You then have Tommi OReilly, AJ etc bubbling under who also joined at 6 .

Football is a worldwide game and we have managed to spot and take on kids aged 6 and brought them through to being in a squad in the best league in the world.

I think its mental. And these are players that havent been part of the NWSE academy rebuild. They were spotted around 2010 and have been developed all that time to now be pusbing hard.  Big up BMH
