Is it too arrogant to think we should be comfortably dispatching sides like this at home? I know we aren't the force we were but **** me...

Yes, it is.  Wigan are decent.

WillHill odds at the start of the game had us at 21/20.  Just not a gimme at all - even though, we probably need to win these games to get promoted.

Edit:  At least with the "comfortably".

McGinn must be wondering where the desire is: that was part of the success at Hibs.

Brice just doesn’t inspire confidence. Think about it: you’re a young athlete with the world at his feet. And a big lad known for his writing prowess and playing before you were born ices you advice. Henry might have been a risk but he would have inspired a few of these players

Momentum from the last game, picking players in the right positions and not having the defensive/attacking balance all wrong, coaching the **** basics, and we should be comfortable against this lot.

As it is we'll be lucky to survive with a point, at home, against wigan.

He's right though. There was absolutely no reason to play Jedinak at CB where he's had an absolute mare just like every other time he's played there.

It's perfectly valid to criticize the man who put him there and is in no way comparable to an attacking player making a mistake.

Striker for a midfielder.

Were settling for the draw then.

This is pathetic.

No strikers left ...kodjia horribly off form...hourihane scores goals.

In itself this isn't a bad substitution

are you suggesting today isnt Bruce's fault?

even with the error from Jedinak this is still firmly his fault, this is garbage

Even if Bruce picks Jedi in midfield and he makes that sort of mistake (one he makes regularly) it happens further up the pitch and is unlikely to lead to a goal. By picking Jedi in that position, it leads to the mistake. Mad how some can't see that.

Yeah mate, we definitely shouldn't be playing one of our top scorers from last season. Blaming a manager for an individual error like that is utterly, utterly moronic.

I don't think it's been that bad to be honest.  Spells of panic, defensively we look weak, the goalkeeper hasn't settled well but McGinn has had a good debut, Grealish has been decent and Kodjia should've scored at least 3.

It's a sort of 5 or 6/10 performance.  Not woeful but equally not great.

Poor result. Had a opportunity to get back to back wins yet we drop two points thanks to bruce a scrappy decision to play jedinak at the back. We all know how useless he is at cb so why the **** can't bruce see it??
