I’ve gone for my favourites in each position ( and squeezed a couple into slightly wrong positions ) rather than who I think best...I find the former very hard and the latter impossible ! Anyway with my earliest Villa memories about 84/85 sort of time I'll go for 1. Spink 2. Delaney 3. Staunton 4. Laursen 5. God 6. Richardson 7. Houghton 8. Yorke 9. Benteke 10. Sid 11. Daley Subs - Bosnich, Mellberg, Bouma, Milner, Barry, Young, Deano (wanted to find room for Dalian, Dublin and Allan Evans but couldn't talk myself round) RB I had to think about.
