Isn’t it not a handball if it hits the sleeves?

The line is the top of the armpit, not the actual shirt sleeve. Looks a good 2-3 inches lower than that to me, it's the middle of his bicep

Just saw the Forest red card. Absolutely disgusting. And they battled bravely only to lose it in stoppage time.

Players, fans and Nuno all raped by what must be the worst officiating in top flight European football.

Didn’t mings do something similar to salah a couple of years ago? Slid in and go the ball and then because of salah’s movement and mings’ momentum clipped the man after?

Right culprit, wrong rat.

It was Saka at Arsenal. Who'd have thought?

Posted it yesterday

As someone else said its mental that the discussion there is whether or not it should have been a red or not, madness as it wasn't even a foul

From memory we were 1-0 down but not out of the game and that kind of tackle could have got the crowd going and given us a boost and the ref stopped it

Also from memory saka screamed so loud you could hear it on the TV, it was like he trod on lego

Did anyone watch us on MOTD? After the Bailey goal the in game commentary said “if Sheffield United had taken it a bit further away from the goal it wouldn’t have been disallowed, the officials say it’s still part of the same phase when Villa won it back”.

The point was repeated in the question to Unai after the game.

I think it’s a shit rule, but it does look like the rule was applied as written 😕

Yeah that’s obviously their logic because they ruled it out but that’s a misapplication of the rules in most people’s opinion, including in the post-match analysis on MOTD. They also said the handball was blatant.

Okay, so it was deemed his second yellow card and so he was sent off.

Shocking officiating.

Wow.  That is a terrible decision.  Can't we get an AI robot to review stuff?  Or a chicken or something with more consistency?
