Dont know why you think we controlled the game...

We had less posession

We had less time in the attacking 3rd

We had less shots overall

We had less shots on target

We created less chances

We had a lower pass success rate

We lost more 50/50 and one on ones

We had a lower tackle success rate

So i really dont see how we controlled anything...

All these things are true, I guess it was the feeling that I don't think at any point we would really concede.

I see I'm in the vast minority here, just how I saw the game.

And having re-read your Post I'm confused brinyear

Where has anyone in this thread said the stuff you've come up with ?

I think we defended well but were poor overall.

Taking the way you describe things I'm glad you thought we dominated the game, had so many chances, and waltzed effortlessly to our 35th consecutive win.

There I can grossly distort what people have said too !! Clever me !!

Amen brother.

I personally think people don't sing because our repertoire is just so stale.

You don't need to be creative though. Just chant a player's name to a random tune or even a tune you just made up. Oh Henri Henri, Henri Henri Henri Henri Lansbury.

Also pro-Villa songs are quite sh*t. I just wish we were more organised.

Still smirking :)

Will enjoy the WM phone in tonight, can't wait for the wailing and gnashing of teeth from Paul "y'know mate"from Castle Vale (mate), Polly Penis Breath and RastaMong Ken

I also liked the nose who had a go at the presenter (who wasn't doing the commentary) for being so biased towards Villa during the match commentary and wanted to make a big thing about it...... only to be told there is a Villa commentary on FM and a Blues one on DAB...... and he was listening to the wrong one.

One thing should mention to their fans they were very real respectful to ugo fair play. Would hope our fans would do the same if roles were reversed.

I'm sure we would

Some things transcend football rivalry.

Radio WM last night was brilliant. A Bluenose rang up who was annoyed that Doctor Tony had got involved and then spent the next 10 mins trying to blame Chester for running with his arms out despite being told by the presenters they couldnt see the point where Chester supposedly clatter the blues player with his arm.

They are deluded.

They are unwashed, illiterate, obsessed and deluded.
