hogso
My favourite cover is below, Coil didn't merely re-record or perform the song in their own style, they gave it a whole new, powerful, meaning. Not that there's anything wrong with only putting your own spin on a song Metallica's For Whom The Bell Tolls btw You could make a whole thread of covers for this song, here is one of them and perhaps my favourite Featuring Professor Stephen Hawkins on guest vocals Lol jk
HanoiVillan
Nearly everything Coil touched was brilliant. 'Remote Viewing 4' is my personal favourite. Edited January 20, 2016 by HanoiVillan

dAVe80
If you're a fan of the Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra original, I don't think you'd like this.

Rugeley Villa
Not sure, but one or two may find this interesting. Black Sabbath covering Smoke on the water in the early 80s. Ian Gillan in his drunken stupor had agreed to join the band on a drunken night out with tony and Geezer. Dio had left the band by this point. They used to do it as an encore for the benefit of Ian gillan really. Gillan Iommi Butler Bevan
