bickster Posted February 9, 2019 Moderator Share Posted February 9, 2019 Massive Attack doing a straight up cover of 10:15 on a Saturday Night from The Cure's first album. Very odd (shit camera phone video). It’s like they haven’t tried to do it in their style, might as well be done by three lads in a covers band down the pub
bickster Posted February 17, 2019 Moderator Share Posted February 17, 2019 Just came across this in the collection, this is one of the good covers, SLF certainly made it their own (They did add some of their own words I think). No straight cover this one. Originally by Bob Marley (Written by Rita though I think). The original is good, this is the version I'll always love though Also interesting that a song about a tragedy in gangland Trenchtown transposes so easily to the Troubles in NI

Mark Albrighton Posted March 14, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted March 14, 2019 Don’t think this has been posted yet, I remember really liking this in my teens. Your typical upbeat classic turned into a more plaintive, reflective acoustic number -
