I'm still amazed that it's not mandatory to have a witness in every room where someone who identifies as a Tory is around decent people.

I'd still never leave my kids alone in a room with one.

He's continued most of Boris's biggest hits, Brexit, Corbyn, etc, but the new catchphrase that's winding me up, always accompanied with a smug grin is "obviously you wouldn't expect me to comment on..."

No, why would I expect you to comment on policy, you're only the prime minister being interviewed on television. What an absurd idea to think you'd actually address a question.

Yeah

There's 2 definitions, ours and theirs.

For us, it's "am I gonna get punched in the face or the 'nads"

For them it's "which is most likely to let me get re-elected"

They're our servants. We pay them.

They're actually the servants of uber capitalists, who pay them a great deal more (with correspondingly bigger returns).

Minimum Wage up to £10.42 👍

Benefits increase in line with inflation at around 10% 👍

Extra windfall taxes on energy firms raising £14 billion next year and £50 billion over next 4 years 👍

Lowering income tax threshold to £125k when you start paying 45% 👍

Capital gains and dividend tax starts to be paid earlier 👍

Energy price cap extended after April at £3,000, with extra help for low income households 👍

Are they a Labour govt in disguise lol 😀

Fills the "Black Hole" The rest of the rises are for what exactly?

I'm all in favour of most of what they've done, though I don't think the time was right to introduce Vehicle Excise Duty to Electric Cars

I suspect the extra spending for education and the NHS won't even cover the wage increases, so a net fall for those sectors.

Id rather this than a increase in tax but i dont think it would make make much difference will it for them?

I mean how many electric car users are there in the uk?

705,000+ owners, so maybe double that in users

Still another 3 years till it kicks in. Hopefully it’s not so harsh it cripples the industry and removes a lot of the incentive for buying a BEV.
