No one will come play for our shit team so players from relegated sides are the best we can aspire to. We can't pay big bucks for good player. We can't allure players via our league standings because our league standings is shit. Players don't give two **** about history anymore. We'd be lucky to sign Michu at our status. Honest question. He is skilful, fast, agressive can run with ball and can shoot from distance. Because he's at Spurs, because the media overrate him and because he's 'average'...... (Unlike the mighty European Cup winning Aston Villa who are anything but average!) /sarcasm I've never watched Townsend other than in Villa games, MOTD & England highlights, so I'm not an expert on him, but I'd take him at Villa.
