StanBalaban
Guess first job would be to get a Shirt Sponser on par with the £20mil West Ham have gotten over 3 years from Betway The West Ham deal equates to £5.71m per year over 3.5 years. Our deal with Genting was worth £8m per year and with Dafabet it's not far behind West Ham, at £5m per year - so there's not much in it to be fair. Kingman
Chief commercial officer Charlie Wijeratna has parted company with the club, the Birmingham Mail understands. He follows a number of high-profile figures to leave the club after both Tom Fox and Hendrik Almstadt departed earlier this year. The ex-Tottenham and European Games director was one of the highest-earning members of staff in the Villa Park offices and was responsible for the club’s commercial operation. Former CEO, Fox, recruited Wijeratna in February 2015 after Villa created the role for him. He was tasked with attracting more partners to the club, landing better sponsorship deals, and also overseeing the marketing and media departments. Wijeratna, who also spent eight years in the city as a corporate lawyer and then an investment banker, pushed to rebrand the Villa badge recently. At the time of writing Villa had not responded to requests for a comment on Wijeratna's departure. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/revealed-latest-name-leave-aston-11452633 Edited June 11, 2016 by Kingman

alreadyexists Posted June 11, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted June 11, 2016 I'd completely forgotten about us hiring him, talk about a low profile, we've not heard a peep out of him. Could mean the takeover is one step closer?
mwj
Other than that fantasy league game thing last week, what commercial partnerships did we actually sign in the last year? I can't think of any

meme
His LinkedIn shows that he is still at the club. Will probably leave once the takeover is ratified. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/charlie-wijeratna-b31ab917

Risso
I've got the Bank of America sales prospectus, and it states categorically that both the sponsorship and the kit deal were worth £2m per year.
