Agree with all of that, but in a way the moral gymnastics coming from the people who try and justify it is worse than the act itself IMO. In response to what Darren says in the post below yours - the quality of the photos is irrelevant and it isn't our place to second guess how these people might feel in a few days/weeks/months. Humans can be surprisingly sensitive souls... I find it unnerving how quick we are to defend theft and morally objectional behaviour as long as it makes our willies go hard. It's a complete invasion of privacy and if I were a celebrity I'd be feeling incredibly violated and now be thinking about how even the things I do in the privacy of my own home are no longer safe. Yes, there is a point to be said that maybe if you're that famous it would probably be a good idea to not take nude photos or do sex tapes, but it does go against everything that our society preaches, especially America, the so-called Land of the Free. I don't think anyone should not be able to do something that most people do around the world just because they're famous. They are people too at the end of the day. I think this is just another example of the way society has been heading for a while now. This whole superficial culture we have going is coming to a head. Yes the E! 'News', Heat magazines and members of paparazzi are scum and are highly responsible, but the people who read them have to take a share of the responsibility too since they keep them in business. Let's face it. If it was your phone that had been hacked and private photos or videos of you or your family leaked on the internet and viewed by millions, you'd be absolutely devastated. I don't really see how people can be so cold as to try and justify that it's okay or not too bad. As DDID mentioned earlier, it's not like I've never watched porn before, but that's done with someone's consent and in a controlled way. This is completely different.
