  1. Not before they give him another £150m next summer to blow on jorge mendes players.
  2. He was also the same manager who cancelled training because he went to Paris to visit his daughter.
  3. The united one looks like a "Man Utd Official Tractor Supplier Yanmar" tractor drove over some pink paint and then over some jerseys that were on the ground. Bayern one is nice.
  4. Tomas Rosicky. He has also retired : BeeB The quintessential Arsenal player, neat and tidy in possession, lightweight and terrified of physicality, a shrinking violet when things got tough, always injured.
  5. You can say they same thing about the football authorities too, FA, UEFA, FIFA don't mind who you are as long as you bring your bags of cash.
  6. Was he leaning out the window talking to a skysports news reporter at the time?
  7. They can't afford him. Seriously, they actually can't.
  8. 22 games, 11 goals, 16 points, 3 defeats in a row...they break your heart Tom. Going, going, gone!
  9. Why do the fans hate the Coates family? From the outside it looks like once the Bet365 money came along they invested a decent amount in the club.
  10. That was long gone anyway. Just another player we'll have to payoff to get rid of.
  11. I didn't see the game today but this is always the case. He's unable to be creative in midfield, forward passes aren't part of his repetoire.
  12. Team selection was the biggest of those individuals errors. Not a surprise to see that we lost given that selection. It's also not a surprise to see gabby back, he was always going to get another chance. Lastly it's not a surprise that we are in a fight for the playoffs and that the downturn in form, that many on here predicted, has arrived. Bruce isn't good enough to manage this club, never has been, never will be.
  13. Alex ferguson 'only' won two European cups, he must be shit too. You have some bizarre opinions on football Zatman, hating pep and liking Sherwood.
  14. I don't think anyone will leave in January and we might get 1 player in on loan. Next summer on the other hand will be a very different story.
  15. Toon fans better hope this goes through because they badly need to spend in January if they are going to stay up. Otherwise I'm not sure they have the goals in the side to avoid the drop. Hopefully the takeover falls through and they go down...sob on the tyne II.
  16. They should just dispense with the draw altogether and ask the TV companies what fixtures they would like to have.
  17. 1000 times this. I assume it's the reason that Bruce was pushing to get crouch in last summer. Our trademark hoofball is totally pointless if we don't have a player up top who can retain the ball and bring others into play.
  18. Well whether they stay there is all that actually matters, and in my opinion they won't. If they don't stay there then it's just a good run of form in the first half of the season, nothing exciting. As I said above there's always a team that does this, it's not unusual or a surprise but 99% of the time they revert to type. Leicester were an anomaly, not a new norm. People were raving about Watford a few weeks ago...
  19. Yes but the difference is that in the playoffs you have 3 games against teams that all finished between 3rd and 6th, rather than playing the other 23 teams that make up the league. If you look at our record against those teams around the playoffs I don't think it's very favourable, BOF had a spreadsheet showing as much.
  20. I used to be of the same opinion but one poster on here made a good point, you can't play puke football all season and then expect to win a playoff semi final over two legs and then a final as well. At some point during those three games you are going to come unstuck, especially when playing teams that are as good as or better than you and have a better manager.
  21. I'm not sure even the dildo brothers are likely to sack Moyes and get a 3rd manager of the season. He's there until the end of the season and I really hope he takes them down.
  22. It is a closed shop and only the select few can compete. There's always one surprise team that starts the season well and normally they tail off towards the end of the season. Wasn't it this time last year that West Brom were flying high in the league? Let's see where Burnley are at the end of the season.
  23. They've already won the title which is the most important trophy going.
  24. They aren't though. Bar the top six and Everton (who are failing at trying to kick on) every single other club in the premier league is just trying to stay up. That's it. That's why as soon as they start to look close to relegation they fire the manager. It's all about staying up and getting the £100m+ of TV revenue. Nothing else matters, not building a team, not bringing through youth players or local lads, not any of the domestic cups and certainly not the europa league if they do get there. The sad thing is that if we do go up we'll be in the exact same situation.
