I think the anti-Bruce folk (of which I am one) don't agree that we can get better with him as our manager and that's the important point as he's not going to be sacked unless we plummet down the league.

I don't understand this logic, if we hadn't been beaten by the top two teams in the league (both of whom comprehensively outplayed us and embarrassed us) then we would be better? I supposed you're correct in that if we had been good enough to beat both of those sides then we would be top and should be considered the best team in the league. However unfortunately it's not what actually happened so I don't get what point you are trying to make at all.

It's just telling us what we already know. Against the weaker teams we can overpower them with the talent in our squad but against the better teams we get outplayed. It's not a mystery but our manager isn't able to fix it.

We don't though. Sheffield Wednesday deservedly beat us at villa Park. We also draw alot of games against poor opposition that we should be good enough to win.

The table will start to make people think automatic promotion is possible now. Tonight's performance should show people that it's unlikely. Our inability to keep the ball and the managers inability to correct this will cost us.

Isn't it always. We simply cant keep possession for a sustained period of time and it's typical of a Steve Bruce team.

Should be able to do this rabble by a few goals now.

I would see it as him getting in his excuses early so that if (when) he fails he can absolve himself of any blame. Plenty of other managers behave in a similar fashion so he's not alone in that.

The diving and constant surrounding of the referee putting pressure on him and showing obvious dissent was far far more annoying than the advertising boards.

Correct. He was being paid bollock all to manage Wales and he wasn't going to get any premier league job. No wins in 20 for them, we should be destroying them.
