Just reading that a 17 year old was stabbed to death in Victoria Square (Birmingham City Centre) yesterday afternoon around 3.30pm. Absolutely terrible and my heart goes out to his family.

I got to be honest I don't know a lot about Morgan Rogers and I'd imagine that goes for 99% of us. I didn't know a lot about a 22 year old David Platt when we signed him from 4th division Crewe. I also didn't know a lot about a 21 year old Ashley Young who had made 80% of his 98 senior league appearances in the Championship. I guess sometimes you just have to trust in those who make the decisions to bring players in and as things stand today the odds are heavily stacked that those people making those decisions will make the right decision and not the wrong one.

Not sure where to put this but as the Tories seem hell bent on making illegal migration their number one issue here seems as good a place as any. The below is frightening as to how people can be so ill informed and have fallen for the right wing media/politicians bullshitting them. Illegal migration in 2023 was around 52k. Legal migration was around 1.2 million. So less than 5% arrived illegally and a lot of them came via air travel and just overstayed their legally obtained tourist visas.

Those waiting for hospital treatment doubled between 2010 and 2020 (pre pandemic) and pre strikes last year stood at almost 8 million people waiting for treatment which is over 3 times what it was when these bastards came into power in 2010.

Up there with the worst refereeing I have seen this season and given the abundance of shite in that field that is saying something. A competent performance from the officials and we are walking away with 3 points and Everton are walking off with 10 men and f all to show for their dire Dyche Ball. I thought our performance was decent, we've controlled what was overall a scrappy game due to Evertons tactics/the officiating meaning a stop/start game that never allowed us to get into a flow. On the downside Diaby was again poor which is becoming a bit of a worry as with so few attacking options we could really do with him on it.

Mad thing is I have been into my booking and had a look just to see if I changed car park and it comes up at 1.5k to park in an airparks but other on airport parking (car parks 2 and 3) also come up as zero. Did you put in to stay for over a year?

I've just been on holiday extras to see how much airport parking would be for Birmingham airport. I meant to put in 20/03/2024 until 29/03/2024 but accidentally entered 29/03/2025 as the return date. Anyway it came up for car park 1 (closest to terminal/usually the most expensive) as 0.00 cost. I thought I'll chance my arm and see if this processes. It wouldn't as I assume because there was no charge. So I then pressed the 99p to be sent a SMS text confirmation and then made the payment using a voucher I have for an old refund. The payment went through and I have received email confirmation with a booking reference and also a text confirmation. Anyone think I am likely to have problems if I rocked up to the car park? Had the parking been over 60 quid I'd have just got a taxi.

It is unbelievable what Littler is doing. He is not just beating the worlds best players he is absolutely battering them and not in any event but at the world championship. Unreal.

The Office, Derek and After Life are all exceptional and have that rare gift of being able to make you laugh whilst containing really sad, pull on heart strings moments. I've never been a fan of Gervais stand up though.

Watched Take Care of Maya last night. A Netflix documentary about a family in America whose child gets ill and they are accused of child abuse. Shocking and really sad. Well worth a watch.

I have a good feeling about this one. Ramsey is hopefully now going to benefit from the game time he has got over the last couple of weeks and will be fully up to speed. With Moreno behind him hopefully they can reignite that understanding/partnership they developed last season. I'm going 3-0 with Ramsey scoring and a birthday goal for Ollie.

I live not far from Barr Beacon so am really high up and the wind was as bad as I've known it last night. Opened the blinds on the kitchen to total carnage in the garden this morning 3 fence panels out and smashed and the covers that we put on the garden furniture all ripped to pieces. I also flew back from Spain yesterday afternoon into Manchester airport and the landing was as bumpy as I've ever experienced.
