Forest win tomorrow they are level on points with us. I hope we will be OK under Emery but nothing is a guarantee, if the players revolt against him for example we are in for a long season. We really need to go on a run to pick up points and sort our away form out, it’s embarrassing.

I get money is tight but even more reason to look at Dyche? He is used to working with small budgets, he probably won’t get a better job in the PL now with Leicester picking up form too. I’m sure he would take a year contract. It’s ok linking him to us but the Wolves job has been available for a while now, strangely you don’t see pundits pushing that job (I know they have announced the current manager stays in charge for the season but even before this). They are in trouble.

The work permit thing doesn’t make sense to me. It’s like any other transfer isn’t it once the main negotiations have been sorted we usually come out and say “subject to work permit”. My guess is he is still trying to make his mind up.

Emery would be great in my opinion, I’m surprised if he does come and I would see it as a coup. My guess is he feels he has unfinished business in the PL.

McGinn hasn’t looked match fit all season to be fair and he has probably played the most minutes. Ramsey is a strange one he has been poor too this season but who hasn’t really, no harm taking him out the firing line for a bit though I guess.

Everton look like they have a plan, solid look about them defensively. Gordon, Calvit Lewin and Gray cause problems upfront. Onana looks a unit in midfield. I can see what he is trying to do. It's why the Everton fans and obviously the board gave him time, they showed improvement. What on earth was Gerrard trying to do here in the meantime I haven't a clue and neither did he it seems.

If every manager said no I’d take Dyche as a last attempt on a 1 year contract. As a top 3 choice though? No.

We have to be extremely wary of relegation sure. 40 points is absolutely the main target now but some of you here are making out like we are cut adrift at the bottom of the table with 5 games to go.
