I think the article that mentioned us a keen suitor was on cricinfo. Yes but we can't make a move for him until the end of the season and theres been no suggestion at the club that we will. We are still massively in debt and hear Povey is leaving. We'll see. I think he'd be a good fit for us, desperately in need of a limited overs opening bat.

This will drop at 10am..... Liverpool have reached an agreement with Aston Villa over payment terms on their £32.5m move for Cristian Benteke. The Anfield club have now arranged a medical, which will take place in the UK. Liverpool's club doctor will fly home from the club's tour of Australia to complete the medical but Benteke will not join up with his new team-mates Down Under.
