    Think the second point here is significant. We're 3 weeks into a new season and any excitement for the vast majority of us has evaporated. We play such slow and predictable football. The manager is sarcy and snappy. What is there to be excited about??

    Just thinking about when we went to Palace last season and won. Controlled the game and played some inventive stuff. Scored a beautiful goal. Had zero expectation any of the above would be repeated yesterday and so it proved.

    Make Konsa in the starting XI make sense? Balance from starting midfield three is miles off it. Start Luiz and bench one of Ramsey or McGinn until we show some solidity off the ball and retain the thing when we have it. Hard to see the manager improving things. Might take a cabbage to Bolton.

    Don't really know what our main position of need is right now but you'd think money is available to get at least one more in. Still expecting/hoping for more transfer revenue from Davis, Guilbert, El Ghazi and Traore which would represent our best summer of sales in a long time (not including Jack)......
