  1. Not much help to you as I haven't been yet but doing Prague, Vienna, Bratislava in September but... Prague was one we wanted to do 3 days in, and then we had the option of 3 days in Vienna and 1 day in Bratislava or vice versa. We went with 3 days in Vienna as we were told there was a fair bit to do and see there. I've been to Budapest previously and there is plenty to do and see over a 4 day stay.
  2. The memory of Richards and Lescott together at the back sends shivers down my spine
  3. It is when we are setting the team up and performing in the same shambolic way we played last season. No Kodjia no clue... Again
  4. This bloke is a shambles. Absolutely clueless. I could put a better shift in at CB than this guy. I don't understand why we are wasting our time playing him in pre-season.

  6. Finally exchanging contracts next week. 5% deposit with the mortgage spread over 35 years, hardly ideal at all but as a first time buyer I wanted to get out of renting. The house I have gone for I managed to get for a really good price, it's in dire need of a cosmetic work as the guy I am buying from has been there 40 years without modernizing. Looking to sell when my fixed term ends in 2 years for a profit and I can then remortgage and amend to 20 - 25 years at a much lower rate. All in all it's been a bit of a nightmare saving up a deposit whilst renting, the government schemes are all set up so badly for first time buyers. The main scheme they have is set up for first time buyers to buy new builds.
  7. Where was Elphick last night? Is he leaving?
  8. I think from what has been discussed over the last day with agents not having to bend over backwards on viewing times etc just shows how the market is no where near a collapse. There are more people looking for housing than there are houses available and this is only going to continue as the population grows. The only thing I've found since looking at buying (currently in the process of buying my first property), is that a lot of houses on the market are massively overpriced. The house we have bought was originally on the market for for 15k more than it was on the market for when I viewed. I then bought it for 10k less than that... That's a massive drop on its valuation. I am now looking at houses in our area (just to check nothing better appears) on the market for a lot more than the property I am buying that are not half as nice. They will then stay there for a while until the agent and seller realise their mistake. Greed!
  9. Best deal we seemed to be able to get. Not going to miss the guy, never wanted to play for us.
  10. I actually thought he played well last night, an absolute unit and won a lot in the air. Would be interesting to play him in one half of the game against Watford to see how he gets on against superior opposition (Watford and superior opposition just isn't right)
  11. But the reason he could barely keep onside is because the midfield were slower than he was... he was making runs expecting the balls to be played but it was coming far too late. The same thing happend to Juan Pablo Angel in his first season for us. If we play to his strengths in a more attacking way he will score goals for certain. I think we will begin to see that at the start of the season when he plays with RMC.
  12. It would be nice to think we have found a few gems so far already, in Kodjia he could easily perform at Premiership level. At the end of last season we were talking about a 25 million fee for him. If Hogan fires this season as he did for Brentford he could well be Premiership quality, West Ham were looking at him for 15 million at one point. If Grealish & Green step up this season they should be working towards being Premiership quality. No doubt about it though, huge investment will be required. But I am sure Tony already knows this.
  13. You realise they were McCormack's stats and not Adomah's?
  14. Gonna give it a go... (Elmohamady + Johnstone + (Whelan+?+?)/3 One midfielder out of 3 potential options will join Now it seem's 6 players are set to leave - Gil, -?, -?, - Amavi, -10, -10
  15. Not necessarily true, we could achieve promotion with a player of less calibre than Joe Hart He's very unlikely to sign, but if it does happen then it increases our chances by some way. It also increases our pulling power as has happened with John Terry.
  16. I think there must be something in these Hart rumours or else Dr Tone would have dispelled them by now... The fact that he hasn't mentioned it despite the media speculation seems to imply that negotiations are taking place...
  17. Is it just me or are the club missing a trick with their big pre-order of the new shirts in the fact they haven't yet released Jonathan Kodjia's new number... I would imagine he is on the back of the majority of fans shirts?! Very strange...
  18. The problem with promoting youth is it's a gamble, and this season we can't afford a gamble not to pay off...
  19. Looking back at the Neil Taylor signing a lot of people said the same thing that is now being said of Elmohamady. Not an exciting signing, but a stable signing who know's the Championship. If he can do as good as a job on the right that Taylor has done on the left we have done well. All about the contract we give him, it seem's we are going about it the right way now though and not tying players in for years and years when they are likely not going to be required anymore.
  20. Impressive, and with a strong bench already. If we can bring in any new signings now that can improve this side then we will be sorted for the new season. Really excited to see what RMC can do in this side.
  21. GK Bree Chester Terry Taylor Jedinak Hourihane Lansbury RMC Hogan Kodjia Hell of a side that!
