  1. We had a very good chance of losing him for free. Would have gone down as one of the crimes of the century.
  2. Agreed I’d like him to score 64 goals and they win nothing.
  3. The only thing that needs saying about this team.
  4. I think part of where Ramsey is struggling a little bit at the moment and in current system is playing with his back to goal and being aware generally of what is behind him. When the play is in front of him he seems fine. But it’s a slightly different skill being asked of him at the moment, more reliant on understanding of space and close control. Will be interesting to see how he picks that up.
  5. Is it? Several major newspapers running it.
  6. Going after Gary Linekar and Attenborough in one day. It's a bold election strategy Cotton. Lets see if it pays off for em.
  7. Maybe part of a new FFP strategy to cut out the middle man.
  8. There is a lot of teams to hate, but you can’t cheat your way to winning the league several times over 10 years effectively ruining the league as a sporting contest and not come top of this vote surely?

I mean they might have just met the guy in person and thought who is this word removed.
  10. Walked up a volcano today and onto the (recently solid) lava flows. They were still warm to the touch. On an impromptu pit stop we also saw a whale in the harbour several times, at one point it was about 20m from us. Two firsts in one day. Chilled at Blue Lagoon to finish the day off. Iceland well worth a visit even if the weather is more bleak than the UK.
  11. A huge relief to have him back playing consistently well. The cognitive dissonance I was feeling for this man has been hurting my brain for a long time now.
  12. Looks like a totally new player. What a funny thing confidence is.
  13. That was a 3 point clearance he made.
  14. It’s all opinions. For me I didn’t understand the subs either but I thought they worked. Arsenal were all over us until he made tha changes. When we changed the team we stabilised the game and even had two good chances to win. They obviously got two goals and closed the game out but I don’t think that was because of the changes, they actually helped turn the tide of the game IMO.
  15. Pretty much spot on as always @OutByEaster?. Odegaard is so so good, they’ve got a lot of good players but he’s the one that brings it all together. We played well today and didn’t deserve to lose but thought Arsenal were very good in second half and earned their luck. Im glad we didn’t gift them the game like we did Leicester. Funny that it was Odegaard of all people who managed to bail out Konsa there.
  16. Terrific news. He makes far far fewer mistakes than most of the players in our side. Makes those around him play better. We need more players like him.
  17. Well he clearly is a PL CB as hes played most of his career in this division and played fairly well for us last year. I don’t think he suits well to make 1 appearance every couple of months. He’s been pretty woeful on almost every game this year. I don’t think it helps that mostly he’s been playing with Konsa. I think Mings makes those around him better. It’s one of his big strengths IMO.
  18. The way I think about it is it can’t be more embarrassing than giving Danny Drinkwater his first start in 6 months and seeing how he gets on against Kevin de Bruyne. Only way is up from there.
  19. We tend to attack as a 3-2-2-3 (Bailey and Moreno/Digne either side of Watkins) and then 4-4-2 in defence.
  20. Looks like he’s standing under the shower and the other two are being pissed on for some reason.
  21. I wish they'd just read an email to him and asked what he thinks was actually happening in that instance.
  22. I’ve had a soft spot for Barca for a long long time going back to Koeman, Stoichkov and Romario. Been lucky enough to go to a few games and visit the city many times as good friend of mine lives there. Id be quite happy to see any of those teams go bust. Football like the economy can’t have things that are too big to fail. If they’ve made a mess of things they need to feel the reality of gravity like everyone else. It just sounds like a good thing for the game to me. Nobody wants this super league except the rich and the desperate. Hopefully we can keep telling them to go away. I worry a bit though this will be footballs LIV. Money men don’t care about fans, they know that if they pull it off (Kenneth) fans will watch it anyway.
  23. Agreed that the mistakes were main issue but both things can be true at same time. Today was classic Ollie terrific first goal, good all round play but left at least one more goal out there. He wasn’t the only one. They were clinical and we weren’t.
