  1. Ok there's optimism and then there's insanity. Lol. We won't be finishing above Man United. We were too far back to start with thanks to Gerrard unfortunately. Hope they hammer Brentford.
  2. We want Man United to win by as many goals as possible! Brentford are our rivals and we can still finish above them so why would we want them getting anything?
  3. This is unbelievable. The only positive is that he may ve able to unite the fans but how that translates into getting a tune out of a load of stupidly overpriced players I have no idea. I'd love to see them crash and burn and finish bottom half.
  4. I think that in terms of PL games this is about the least "tricky" game we could possibly play. In amazing form, at home against a poor side in poor form whonare dreadful away. That doesn't mean that we will win. Just on paper we really should.
  5. I definitely consider Sheffield Wednesday as a traditional top flight club. Probably due to them being top flight (and pretty good) in the late 80s and 90s. Same for Derby and Forest. Definitely not Leicester.
  6. It's bizarre the amount of strwamanning that goes on! I just stated that I do not consider Leiceester a traditionally top flight club. That's it. Nothing more! Nothing about "deserving". The all time table proves I am right about that and I have no idea what the issue is.
  7. Ah yes sorry. So we are 2nd in the all time years in top flight table. Thought we were still top. But we are 2nd and they are 24th. We clearly are a far more traditionally top flight club than them and since 23 clubs have spent longer in the tip flight than them, my point stands. Hopefully they go back to the 2nd tier and stay there.
  8. Well you cannot use the word traditionally and then refuse to count anything before 1992. That's patently absurd.
  9. Im not sure why the league win is relevant? We have spent more time in the top flight than anyone else (think joint with Everton) and Leicester have spent a lot of time in lower tiers. It's not even close. We are a traditionally top flight club and in fact maybe the MOST traditionally top flight club. Leicester aren't. That's all I was saying. Edit: Checked and they are 24th in terms of top flight years. So that would literally put them outside the top tier. Proving my point.
  10. "Tentative option", "could make a return", that's not news that's lazy journalism/click bait. Would be hilarious if it happened though.
  11. It's not arrogance at all. I don't see them as a traditionally top flight club. Wigan won the FA Cup and I don't see them as even a 2nd tier club never mind top flight. Maybe its a generational thing as they were 2nd division whem I got into football i the 80s, bu there are definitely at least 20 clubs who I would consider top flight clubs over Leicester City.
  12. Ok but are they reporting it as their own story or are they saying whats in the tabloids? Getting Lampard in would.be an absolute disaster.
  13. They will still be in Europe next season 10000000% as Ive said all along and I reckon they could very much still make top 4. That said, they are no longer the force of their title winning campaign and so will need to spend big in the summer to compete with Man City next year. (I'm sure they will though, it's just what these clubs do.)
  14. Talk from where? Sensationalist tabloid gutter press or actual credible sources? It seems hugely unlikely that they would even consider him so genuinely wonder where you've read it. It seems like lazy, Sun/Mirror/Star nonsense as much as I'd love it to be true.
  15. Leicester will never be a big club and to me, they will never be a real top flight club either. I see them as a mid table 2nd tier club who got lucky, won the lottery, had their day in the sun and will now (hopefully) bugger to whence they came. A cocky bunch of Representatives for Wellingborough who got well above their station and need to be put back in theor box. Would love it if they dropped this season but if not, they will go soon enough. The party is well and truly over for them.
  16. "You're going down with your WiFi" was absolutely genius. Apparently that's why we couldn't get served before the game as their systems were down due to no Internet connection. Lol
  17. Massive. As big as the Chelsea win for different reasons. Atmosphere in the away end was absolutely bouncing!
  18. "Stay out of the black and in the red, forget FFP and do a Man City instead."
  19. Looking forward to this and expect the away end will be bouncing. I do worry that they will have been given a boost with Rodgers departure and as such I'll go with a 1-1 draw. Expect the same side to start, maybe Bailey in for Ramsey or Chambers in for Kamara if he isn't fit.
  20. Another way of framing it is that NOT having money guarantees you won't be successful.
  21. I don't see his point at all though. We absolutely shouldn't have been 5 down by 18 minutes or at any point in the game. Regards the "backpass", yes I meant the Kamara incident (which granted was an error from Emi rather than a backpass) but whichever incident it was, it doesn't justify the notion we should have been 5 goals down.
  22. You said you could understand the point that we could have been 5 0 down by the time we scored. Then you use an example of a bad backpass. Yes we rode our luck at times but the suggestion we should have been 5 down after 18 minutes is quote frankly abusrd.
