  1. Compare him to Brennan Johnson at Forest who is single handedly keeping them up. 21 years old in his first season in the top flight and playing scoring regularly. No comparison.
  2. Very impressive but where are those Bolton fans when they are playing in the league? At Old Trafford or Anfield would be my guess.
  3. They aren't out of danger. Nobody said they were. I said there are 3 worse teams than them and I stand by that. Whilst their form is poor, so is the form of those below them. I also disagree that "it doesn't take much" for 4 terrible teams to overhaul them. There's a reason why those teams are down there and witha couple more points than theor rivals plus an extra game to play, I think West Ham will be fine
  4. It's not just the points difference that matters its also how many teams are below you. West Ham wouod currently need no fewer than 4 clubs to overhaul them to go into the drop zone and they have played a game less than all of them.
  5. If they win today they go 14th with a game in hand. There are definitely 3 worse teams than West Ham this season and even if they don't win today they would go 14th by winning said game in hand.
  6. There's a thread on SHA claiming they should go for Potter if he leaves Chelsea. Going on to suggest he would join because he played for them. They really are a special bunch aren't they. Do they not realise they are a cesspit of a club that nobody in their right mind would even consider? We are so unfortunate to have such a dreadful excuse of a club as so called rivals. They are a stain on the name of the city and drag down the region in terms of its football fame. Yet they are going to get the Chelsea manager..... Lol
  7. Just been reading that forum. Boy are they not happy! They all expect a tonking, although one poster said there's no way Villa will win back to back away games. He hasn't been paying attention has he?
  8. Tbf his work to set up the crucial winner yesterday was top draw.
  9. West Ham will not be going down. There are 3 worse teams at least and as you say, they still have the option of a new manager bounce. Still expect Southampton, Bournemouth and Leeds to go but Leicester are in a free fall atm. Hopefully we can push them closer to the drop as they have had their time in the sun for far too long now and need to piss off back to footballing irrelevance.
  10. He will be sacked long before then. They won't put up with being bottom half for long amd expect Madrid to wipe the floor with them too.
  11. He isn't a very good player. He just isn't Premier League quality. Really cannot understand how in the world we got 20 million for him but so glad we did. He will never make it in the top flight.
  12. I think these are harsh. McGinn was a 9 for me with Martinez a solid 8 and Moreno a 6? I thought he did very well and would be a 7/8.
  13. Win 2-0 at Chelsea and last on MOTD. Typical.
  14. Played well today but he needs to learn when to release the ball a bit earlier. It'll come.
  15. Tbf, that's we did exactly that today. Win this and we really will be looking good. Emery is just class isn't he.
  16. We'll fix that on Tuesday. Like we did today. We should have beaten Chelsea at VP.
  17. Missed my flight back from Spain and missed the game. Had to watch it in a bar in Lanzarote with a load of Chelsea fans. What a performance. McGinn is back. What a player and what a goal. Oh and f*** Chelsea!
  18. Yes I do realise that. But this Liverpool side ISN'T winning the League or the Champions League and are a poor version of the side that did. I will be a lot happier seeing us really challenge good sides and not see trailing a poor Liverpool side by 4 points as something to shout about. The direction we are going looks like we will be able to do just that.
  19. Yes 4 points BEHIND the worst Liverpool side in quite a few years isn't much to shout about in fairness.
  20. I don't know why anyone does. I haven't watched a Man City game in years. What they have done to football is a disgrace and the league is a total farce because of it.
  21. Yeah right. Like that would ever happen. The UK government does arms deals with them for goodness sake. Not a chance they would even consider sanctions against the Saudis. Newcastle are owned by the state of Saudi Arabia in all but name, yet the Premier League and British government apparently have legally binding assurances that they aren't. It's a total farce with many greedy little pigs with their snouts in the trough.
  22. And conversely, Chelsea couldn't have wished for a better time for an international break. All the negativity in the dressing room and on the training pitch will be mostly forgotten now and they get a reset. I really think that this break may have swung the result in their favour. Had we have played them last week, we'd have beaten them. Can't see it now.
