  1. I mean there doesn't have to be a right or wrong answer for everything that happens in football. This is the fundamental issue with VAR.
  2. How good is this game without VAR. We would have had about 5 reviews already with it.
  3. What's the reason we are able to buy one of their first choice players?
  4. Did we drag it out past midday so that he can't play tomorrow.
  5. Just imagine the atmosphere around the club when he makes his return.
  6. It's a really weird betting market for FA cup winner. Chelsea and Man U second and third favourites, ahead of us, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. Chelsea 10/1 and us at 20/1 is bizzare. Unless they think we won't be interested.
  7. It's a tough watch isn't it. Why on earth would you televise this one?
  8. I think we will play our usual cup team and play the game largely at half pace. Should have enough therefore to go through but not perceived as the worst thing in the world if we go out, like the league Cup, rightly or wrongly.
  9. I really think a lot the criticism has been on his numbers output, which to be fair had been non existent before his two goals in Dec. The problem too, and it sounds weird to say, but he is playing alongside some of the best players in Europe now across the first half of the season, Bailey, Watkins etc. It's difficult to break into the Premier league and break above some of our current first team
  10. I suppose similar to Bidace it makes sense to us from FFP perspective. Hes gone for a minimum half his true value though. Fantastic signing for Middlesbrough, feel sorry for Plymouth.
  11. I hope we push back on that. £5mil absolute minimum.
  12. A friend of my dentist reckons we are in for a medium sized name. Five or six letters long, likely two syllables. Don't want to give too much away.
  13. Should the people that brought him in not be in trouble for this? Hopefully not, and they can make the next appointment too.
  14. It's the longest new manager bounce of all time.
  15. The real simple way of looking at it is that they now need to replicate what both us and Spurs have done in the first half of the season. PPG wise. They also need us and Spurs to weaken considerably and effectively replicate what Newcastle did for the first half of the season. Its possible but pretty unlikely.
  16. Was that right they've lost 7 out of their last 8 in all competitions? I mean that trend is difficult to undo particularly with tough fixtures to come.
  17. That's something that VAR would actually have been useful for.
  18. I think ar this stage of the season, whenever any of the other top 9 play each other, a draw is good for us.
  19. I've not come across that before. We can't go back and book him as advantage was played? Is that even a thing?
  20. We had a couple more points than Liverpool across the whole of 2023, and we move into calendar year 2024, half way through the 23/24 league season, on exactly the same number of points. We really couldnt be competing with them any more.
  21. They're in big trouble as they seem likely to stand by him despite the fact he isn't a football manager. Just imagine being 2 nil down at half time and having to listen to Wayne Rooney for 15 minutes.
  22. He has got to be worth a fair amount of value to us now. In the summer he could be a 15 goal a season championship 23 year old attacking midfielder. He must be in the £5 to 10 mil bracket if he carries this form into the second half of the season.
  23. Oddly, I thought exactly this at the game yesterday, as Bella was dancing around the touchline pre match.
