  1. Much better performance this time, no disgrace in losing to a great boxer. Hope AJ stays with this new trainer and gets another go in a few years.
  2. AJ needs the knockout in the 12th. Usyk on points otherwise.
  3. AJ needs to put his foot down soon. He won't outbox Usyk.
  4. National anthems before the fight? Don't they already drag this out long enough?
  5. Didn't know that about Sanson. But I'm not sure we get the best out of Luiz as a CDM. Although neither are going to be worse than McGinn.
  6. Nothing against those two, but in this system Gerrard must persist with I don't think they're defensive enough. Would like to see them more involved though.
  7. Poor today, positionally unaware and palace made him look a bit useless. Should have been sent off too, very lucky to stay on after tripping Zaha. Would like to see him dropped for Nakamba in the next game so we have two defensive minded midfielders to support the fullbacks.
  8. Felt sorry for him today. Not supported at all in the tactics we played. Isolated and not anywhere to help the defence.
  9. They exploited the space behind the fullbacks and the space between defence and midfield all game. Shocking management not to change things.
  10. Watched the game. The amount of space we gave palace was ridiculous. The amount of space between the midfield and defence was shocking. The system was at fault today, not the players. Gerrard did nothing to change it, even though it was obvious after 10 minutes. He's showing the same faults in every game and not learning. I don't like the thought of sacking mangers too quickly but in my opinion he's out of his depth. This job has come too early for him. I'd be happy to be proved wrong but we're going to be far closer to the bottom of the league than the top half with him in charge.
  11. I'm not in the Gerrard out camp, but we've all got form for ridiculing Southgate over the exact same thing during the Mount/Grealish for England issue. It's a silly way to respond. I'm sure he could have handled it better, regardless of what treatment the press deserve. All that being said, the bit that actually matters is who he starts on Saturday. I'll judge him far more harshly if he doesn't start Emi.
  12. Ole football in the first half. Utd are ready to be taken outside and shot. Shame Keane isn't on the punditry team.
  13. How the f have we not adapted to Everton's changes. Midfield need to support the fullbacks. It's going to cost us.
  14. In my mind, and this is why I probably don't understand the difference, is that all personal data regardless of the format or where it's stored, should be covered by the data protection act. Again, in my mind, the data being on a private server or on paper in a safe is a breach of that. I think the only thing would be whether or not the data could be classified as personal.
  15. The last thing I am is a Trump supporter, there's no doubt he's a walking, talking piece of ****. But there's a point I don't understand, but I do expect there to be a difference. Why are Trump's private premises being raided when no such action was taken against Hillary Clinton when over 30k emails on her private server went missing? From what I can make out, the rule about how data is handled is the same for every US politician, it's just not enforced all that often. What I'm worried about is Trump and his supporters using this as further "evidence" of a left wing conspiracy.
  16. We're facing the worst economic crisis we've had in my lifetime. Hopefully this puts to bed the often trotted out bs that the Tories are the economically literate party. Without a doubt, they're by far and away the biggest contributor to the situation we all find ourselves in. **** the Tories. They have no answer to what's going on. All they're doing is encouraging the rich to rape the poor.
  17. Shame this, I was looking forward to seeing Keaton don the cape again. Still the best big screen Batman for me, although Kevin Conroy rules all. Wonder if the reasons will ever fully come out in time?
  18. I don't think you're wrong in saying that they should split the titles against the two shows again, however most of these have had more heel/face turns than needed and have had too many feuds where they've handed back wins when they should have been booked strong. I can't "believe" that they're a threat. I'm not a fan of part timers holding a belt either. I do hope Cody gets a big push when he returns though, however I hope the comments he made whilst at AEW on Triple H don't come back to haunt him.
  19. Definite potential, but he rightly had a very safe pair of hands in the Miz calling all the spots. Paul had obviously trained very hard and ran through the match many times beforehand. The crowd were quite hot for the match as well, you don't normally see them that invested for the celeb matches. I'd rather see him than Bad Bunny anyway.
  20. I understand where you're coming from. Getting help was the best thing I ever did for myself. The feelings I get when I'm depressed don't go away, but I'm much more able to deal with them now. I now have coping mechanisms in place to help such as mindfulness and self kindness. The second one is really hard to do for a lot of people. We treat ourselves so much worse than we would treat others. But in terms of feeling scared about opening up, you're definitely not on your own. I think a lot of men go through this. I've been to support groups in a room full of men who are being treated for depression and they still didn't want to open up, even though that's what we were all there for. In my opinion, there's still a social stigma in how we may be perceived for needing mental and emotional support when there absolutely shouldn't be. There's also a work issue, in that for so long mental health at work was never a concern for employers. Finally, the people you'll speak to you for support won't judge you regarding why you need the support or for how you feel, the majority of people I spoke to were nothing but compassionate.
  21. Who is there that would enhance the title more than Reigns though? The champ is supposed to make the title, not the other way around. I'm not a Reigns fan but for the last few years in the men's division WWE have been so focused on Brock and Reigns nobody else has been elevated as a serious threat, let alone a star. With regards to the full time roster there's Reigns, and then there's the mid-card. IMHO we need 6 months to a year of building up other stars. I think there's greater depth on the women's roster. Becky, Charlotte, Bayley, Bianca, Alexa, Rhea, and now Liv are all more credible than the majority of the men.
  22. I'm not trying to be controversial, but I'd rather keep Luiz than McGinn for the tactics Gerrard wants us to play. So much better on the ball, better range of passing, and doesn't have the first touch of a baby elephant. I think in our current setup the only thing McGinn has over him is his engine. McGinn never stops. I really hope we keep Luiz. Technical player who can help us keep the ball higher up the field. I'd love to see him get some consistent time in the role McGinn plays for us.
  23. Yep. Very proud to be a Brummie this evening. Really enjoyed our city taking centre stage and celebrating itself. Does anyone know if that bull is going to become an attraction? I'd love to see it.
