    I’d hate to be the one to make a decision re Martinez and Luiz. It’s not like they’re established internationals yet. Still fighting for a place.

    Can’t say I’m surprised, on his day he’s a level above the quality we would have hoped to get in the summer. Yeah injury hasn’t helped and he’s working his way back. for the right price I’d take him a heartbeat and I really hope he finds his form again.

    I do wonder whether his playing time is partly down to Deans promise to get Ross into the euros squad. Obviously cant do this from the bench and maybe deans almost made a rod for his own back. of course it’s down to the player first and foremost to perform to justify selection but it makes me wonder.

    Just seen the line up, I like it. Hoping Archer will be raring to go, no long spells for the lad. Utilise him like Johnson 13/14. Give him 3/4 over spells and let him rip.

    Ended up having a look back to the start of the thread for Ollie and around the time we signed him. we signed him for an initial £28m to mixed reviews re the fee. At the halfway stage of the season how we feeling about the fee at this point?

    Mate I’m sorry to hear about this. Bullies are vile people. I was bullied throughout secondary school nonstop and has had an effect long term on my mental health. you’ve done the right thing in getting it reported and telling him to report it if it happens straightaway. It’s good that’s he’s also able to tell you about it and be open as he can get the support that is needed from the family. This will give him a lot of reassurance and comfort when it’s needed.
