  1. I thought this was pretty shocking, but also not surprising, unfortunately. Football is really on a downward spiral, yes it might be going on a current upwards trajectory financially, but at the expense of the actual fans, but the short-termism in terms of money grabbing, protection of big clubs etc, i think even though the money is increasing, i think it spells a long term decline if this continues, as the long term fan base will decrease due to the terrible decisions being made. (it might not....but it should if it continues like this). Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has questioned why almost half the tickets for the Champions League final against Real Madrid are not allocated to the clubs. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/61354435
  2. The answer is to play 4231. But that ofc is never gonna happen unfortunately.
  3. ye, i agree Davis is a quality championship player, he did really well before his injury. at least if we get relegated this year, we will be able to have Davis & Archer leading the front line!!!
  4. Honestly, i would defo take 50m for Watkins.
  5. i dunno, werent Spam linked with a player in the summer, who they didnt want to pay a "reasonable fee for" so they pulled out citing "silly money transfers"? Whilst also wanting 150m+ for Rice. lol.
  6. wow, the Wycombe manager looks like he straight out of an early 80s fashion show..... shirt button undone to nipple height and everything lol.....
  7. Ye, i think he would benefit from a loan to a good "footballing" team in the Champ next year, a full hard knocks season would benefit him more than the odd sub appearance imo.
  8. Obviously you are an ardent Labour supporter, I can't be bothered to argue with you. I will have my opinion, you have yours. Thanks.
  9. Both labour and the conservatives are full of loonies right now. Different types of loonies, but loonies all the same.
  10. I don't read either, I can have an opinion that Labour aren't a political party I would want in power right now without it being down to "propaganda", that's my own opinion, just as yours is yours. I also don't want the conservetives in power, they are just bad in a different way. I don't like either of those parties right now.
  11. ye i thought this. or at least, i tried to convince myself this was the case.....
  12. im sure labour will gain, probably as much down to a protest vote as anything, as is usual in locals. I find it ironic though, that although there are some very good arguments with regard to mess that the Conservatives are in right now, labour are not much more electable than the Corbyn years, no way would i vote for labour right now, its terrible to have such a weak opposition. I can see why so many people are so......disenchanted with politics in general, democracy only works properly when we have someone you want to actually vote for, tbh i dont really want to vote for any of them, they are all as bad as each other, in different ways.
  13. i thought his contract expired this June?, i assume we havent extended it?, so how can he go on loan for a season when he only has 2 months left on his contract with us? Should have just agreed a release, so he could join them permanently?
  14. i found this interesting, shows the huge....huge gap.
  15. Aaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha!!! Hahahaha. AAARRRRGGHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  16. Suppose he just doesnt rate him then. Wouldnt be surprised to see him moved on this summer, with a number of others.
  17. yikes, are Plastic City really gonna blow this!?!?
  18. he's been almost permanently injured, when he has returned, he just keeps getting injured over and over. Not sure what you want someone to do with that?
