  1. I feel cheated out of the millennium celebrations now. No one said about being worried for your VCR having a meltdown for 2001! So why does the excel date line start at 1900?
  2. Well done to the lad So has he dropped the Moran from his name, I thought is was Moran-Tait?
  3. The way I see things: How many of Tammy's 16 goals would Kodija have scored - probably most of them How many of the chances Tammy fluffed would Kodjia have scored - probably some. Goalscoring wont be an issue for me if Kodjia starts played in the middle, its just Tammy's hold up play we'll miss.
  4. The way I think it works: 3rd round is alphabetical (we've always 2 or 3.....depends if Accrington make the 3rd round). The next rounds are numbered by the position in the previous rounds is that makes sense....so if you're drawn first out the hat, you'll be ball number 1 in the next round.
  5. I am a farter, from a family of tremendous farters. Grandfather had a little saying before releasing an impressive blast: 'Wherever you maybe, let the wind go free. In church or chapel, let it rattle'
  6. From the Birmingham FA twitter: draw for the quarter-finals – last years finalists Hednesford. A tough draw to say the least. As we’re getting down to the business end of the competition, lets have a bit of background to the tie. It will be the 5th time we’ve been drawn against them in the BSC. Our first £1000 signing George Reeves bagged 5 in a 9-0 semi-final win in 1909. The following year the teams met again, Villa winning by 5-0. Fast forward 84 years for the next time clash, a 2-1 Hednesford win in the 4th round (Quarter-Final). The teams met again in the next season (1994-95) in the 4th round. This time Villa went through at the second time of asking. A 3-3 draw, followed by 2-1 win in the replay. Chris Boden and Ricky Scimeca (playing up front) scoring the goals to take us through.
  7. Snowed here in Blackheath for all of 5 minutes
  8. Just trying to piece together the game from twitter as no reports available as of yet. Looks like McConnachie came on as sub (replacing who?) to especially to take the (winning!) penalty. If so, well done that chap!
  9. The lesson to be learnt here, put your phone away on public transport and enjoy the local scenery!
  10. Could we have an update on the phantom cabbage thrower: has the club concluded their investigations. Has the individual been rewarded/punished?
  11. I expect changes for this one. I can't see Hourihane holding the middle of the park like the previous Bolton game. I wouldn't be surprised if Jack is shovelled out to the wing for this one with Kodja's lack of defensive work rate/awareness.
  12. So the only footage I've seen of this years bonfire night is this. Do people burn Guy's anymore, or is that too old fashioned?
  13. I kind of understand……..so it is if we’re comparing FIFA/ISO 2019 with Sensible Soccer. More buttons/things to press!
  14. So Whatsapp - it is not just reinventing the wheel. I'm still in the 20th century and from the outside looking in, it sound like email/texting to me.
  15. Interesting but worthless info, according the find my past website: Luke Temitope Ige birth was registered at Waltham Forest, Essex, England in 2000 Harrison Sheriff Sohna birth was registered at Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England in 2002 Worth noting also on our books is: Myles Baboucarr Sohna birth was registered at Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England in 2002 Twins?
  16. Draw for the BSC 2nd round - Stratford Town - away https://twitter.com/BirminghamFA/status/1055458988727394305
  17. 100% this. It was drilled in to me at a young age to have a piss before kick off so you wouldn’t miss anything or spoil the game for others. I’m in the trinity. On Saturday it took 5 minutes from the kick off for someone to decide to wonder down to the concourse! Its not the first that’s happened. On a similar theme – Early leavers. If you chose to go, just go. Don’t walk half way down the aisle and stop dead because there’s some goalmouth action, or stop in the aisle and talk to your mate for 5 minutes.
  18. RIP Deadly Always assumed he'd be immortal.

    The NSWE Board

According to Companies House, another 41 million worth of shares has been allotted. Any Ideas: buying out Dr X? running costs?
  20. No one has really left us for anybody, let alone for a bigger club. They generally just get sacked and their careers go downwards quite quick! Graham Taylor left us for the England job. That's about the only one. Gregory rocked up Derby about a week after leaving us, Saunders was appointed blues manager about a fortnight after leaving.
  21. The appointments pretty much ticks all the boxes: A manager noted for forward thinking attacking football. A manager who’s stock is rising within the game. Local lad to connect to fans (this should help if he takes some time to get the team up and running. Folks are more likely to cut him some slack). While Smith isn’t a household name, Terry is. Looks like Smith will bring his coaching team with him. Appointing some kind of DoF type figure to introduce a structure to the whole football side of the club. You can sense a galvanising effect of the appointments already, most people are really looking forward to the next game.
  22. Excellent! - 9.5/10. (minus 0.5 for the under armour faux par).
  23. The lads now have break from the league. League cup game on Friday, then the return to the BSC at Coleshill on Monday. I would have fancied BSC game, but its asking too much to get their after work using public transport. Hopefully we can get through and get a better draw!
  24. Whelan's spent the last 20 years making a career out of passing the ball back the gk, why should last night be any different!
