    I can remember a year ago thinking how cool it would be to win two home games in a row. Never been this happy being a Villa fan. I didn't go to the Everton game either so I think the Leicester game was the last time we didn't win at home that I went to.

    VAR might just become bearable next season when automated offsides come in. I reckon 90% of the issues with it now are the bullshit 3 minute decisions where they have to draw the lines.

    I've said it before but I kind of want us to not win the Euros so that prick doesn't get any of the glory. I know I'll change once the tournament starts but that's how I feel right now.

    He's had an incredible start to the season, especially when he went into the season as everyone's 4th choice CB (except Unai). Didn't see this coming to be fair.

    As expected a better manager is getting more out of him. His work rate off the ball is immense now and he is so good at keeping the ball. We've basically got a £40m+ player for free.

    I'm relaxed about this. Reason being, Arsenal were sniffing around him when he had 9 months left and he still signed a contract here, when we were 17th. Also, if there was a release clause then it would surely be out in the open by now. He seems to genuinely love it here.

    Martinelli is in for Saka and Bruno in for Maddison. Will probably take Diaby out next week for Bowen. I'm tempted to captain Martinelli tomorrow but I know the safe option is to stick with Haaland.
