How is he technically? Obviously he can score goals but you need to be able to do it all now to make it as a PL striker. Would be good for him to get into senior Scotland squad as they're pretty good these days, good coach and he will have McGinn there to help him!

It was a stupid decision from Rashford to go out after a dicking by your local rivals. He should have known there was a pretty good chance it was going to happen and had a private party at home instead. Everyone would be in meltdown on here if one of our players did it after a 3-0 loss to small heath.

Anyone booked Athens yet, in the hope we'll make the final? We're in the process of booking a family holiday for the week whilst it's on, added bonus that the kids will be off school. Found a nice hotel by the coast, all inclusive £2k for the week.

A right back is the only position we really need to think about filling, given it's probably our weakest spot in the first 11 (and I like Cash), and we also don't have a backup option there. Frimpong looks good as he's very attacking whereas Cash is more defence minded, so it would be nice having different options. Also, Frimpong and Diaby will already be used to playing with each other (Kenneth.jpeg)

Pretty surreal that we have the 15th best player in the world and best keeper overall. To think we had a keeper curse before he joined.

The videos coming out of the bombings are the worst things I've ever seen. I do think they should be played on every news channel though, so that everyone can see what is really going on. Just hearing or reading about it isn't enough. I'll be giving my kids an extra big hug when they get home later.

I've just started watching Friends again in his honour. One of the good guys.

I seriously doubt he will leave us until he's achieved what he wants to, especially when we're probably ahead of schedule already and I'm sure even he will be surprised at how well it's gone and how good the squad he's inherited is. He could have got one of the big jobs before he took us on anyway. If he wins one of the big trophies here he will go down as an all-time managing great.

Hopefully we can get to a comfortable winning position by the hour mark against AZ at home so we can start thinking about resting players for the remainder of the group stage. With a win in the AZ game, we'd likely only need a point from the remaining 2 games to qualify. Hopefully we won't be so hamstrung by injuries for the KO phase and we can rotate our squad more for those games and the league games.

Absolutely superb tonight. Great higher up the pitch, great pressing, and great linking up to the forwards when he dropped back towards the end of the game. As others have said, it was nice to see a system with Luiz and Kamara playing with him.

I don't get the hate here. Yes it's a crap appointment but at least give it a chance ffs. We had a long history of disliking Gerrard but at least we gave him 6-12 months before we all turned on him. The same with Bruce. They're a proper weird fanbase.
