  1. Just Client Reference number and their name & address might me useful just incase they check.
  2. Yeah going to need help but it's not just like its a trip to the ticket office they might need to be prepared to queue. Haha I need some karma to be repayed. I bought someone off here a semi final ticket last time.
  3. 3+ on Monday at 9am 2+ Tuesday Tickets only on sale in person at Villa Village Well that's me well and truly screwed along with lots of other people that haven't gone to many games partly because they don't live that close. Really pissed off!
  4. He's got a bit of recent history with Liverpool though as I think he was in charge when Costa was going stamping on everyone. That was in January, I don't think he has refereed any Liverpool games since then, definitely not in the league.
  5. Not a tip but I can't resist having a third punt on across the bay. 2013 it was at the front but it's legs just went and dropped right back at the end, then last year it was the one that was forced the wrong way by Tidal Bay but still had respectable finish.
  6. If you watch anything directed by Paul Tranter you deserve all you get He's well known for making unwatchable macho bollox. Just looked up his name and I have seen a few of his other films. Netflix when bored has a lot to answer for. Yes all his films I've seen have the same air of shitness about them. This one just seemed far worse than the others.
  7. I take it that's not the a remake of Who Dares Wins, with Lewis Collins is it? Cus if it is.... No it's not but suppose it has influenced it, in that it's a hostage situation and that it has ripped off the film title.
  8. thanks for the reminder - dug that back out and also rediscovered Hope of the States - The Lost Riots! What a massive opening track on that album! I never really connected with any of their subsequent albums, though. Likewise, saw them a few times at festivals but didn't really listen to anything past that album. I'm guessing their guitarist who killed himself must of had a massive input into that album, which gave a lot of intensity. The Manics did pretty well for themselves, but its got to be pretty hard for a band getting over something like that.
  9. thanks for the reminder - dug that back out and also rediscovered Hope of the States - The Lost Riots! I did similar, had a listen to See This Through and Leave on spotify, which then reminded me I hadn't listened to The Lost Riots in years either so whacked that on. Saw them at The Louisiana in Bristol not long after Black Dollar Bills was released, it was a great little gig.
  10. I watched He Who Dares the other night, I wasn't expecting much at all and just wanted an easy to watch film with a bit of action. It was one of the worst films I have ever seen.
  11. The reasons for Gil being left out are debatable but you have got to side with him for being pissed off (if that is the case). Especially as Grealish's role tonight was perfect for him. Jack had a good game but no better than Gil had been in his previous games.
  12. I was meant to do some shopping yesterday afternoon including trying to get some of that rum. I decided to go into the pub for a quick one. I got home with kebab in hand at 1am but nothing else.
  13. I did exactly the same when I bought the box set last year, amazing the amount of faces you recognise in it.
  14. Well you've talked me into it, going to get a bottle tomorrow when I go get some Lagunitas.
  15. I received a free bet from Sky Casino, think it was only a fiver but I got it up to about £100. I had a look to withdraw and it wasn't possible, after checking why, I found out I had to bet £1000 worth of bets. It ran out that day and while it might have been possible to make some money, I didn't have the patience and dicked it away.
  16. Most cats will do that, especially when they are young - a small ball made from screwed-up silver paper is ideal. We had one cat who actually invented a game where she would flick said ball through the gap under a door, and you had to flick it back. We called it door tennis, and got some really good rallies going, trying to outwit each other by varying speed and angles. Her other favourite game was goalkeepers, where she stood in front of the door and you threw the ball, which she had to catch or bat away. It was bloody hard to score past her. My cat was a massive snooker fan we had a small table that he used to get on and pot all the balls with his paw, but also would sit and watch snooker on the TV.
  17. I think you kinda missed the point I was making. I just don't want us picking up a load of plastic fans. I hate Chelsea and City. I don't want to become them. You don't want success for the club that you support? I'd take the success, I'd just want us to get there in a more respectable way. Although I suppose these days that is the only way of getting to the top Success inevitably brings 'plastic fans' with you though, ok Man City's money has made the whole process a lot quicker but whatever way we were to be successful we'd gain fans that we didn't have before that start going to games and some that will never go to Villa Park, If it is a gradual rise to success it is a less noticeable change but the result is the same. Look now, we don't get close to selling out most games, we rely on casual fans to sell out, whether that's as new fans or fans that have become disillusioned under Lambert and/or Lerner. From chatting to some Villa fans over the years, there's always been some say they are not going to step foot in Villa Park while ................ is in charge and that's been probably every manager since Gregory, less so for O'Neill and that probably speaks for itself in that it was a more successful period. There is obviously going to more satisfaction doing it the 'proper way' but is it even close to being possible? Maybe being competitive but not regularly challenging for league and cups. Southampton have done amazingly well of following up losing players and more than maintaining their position. It will be interesting to see if they can maintain this level consistently, I’m not sure they will.
  18. I actually think Kozak & Benteke could work together and be a massive handful though the little they did play together it didn't quite come off but they didn't get much of a chance. Gaby should not be pushed out wide though, he should be played where he is currently or on the bench, unless it's a switch during the game but starting position, no.
  19. I think I may have crossed that road myself. Looks like Key West
  20. My fridge today has these in, well minus one of the Lagunitas' as that has just been drank
  21. You could always call. Texting is for pussies You're right, to be fair I bottled calling as I quite like her and was afraid of an awkward conversation if she wasn't interested. All being well it has worked out in the end.
  22. I recently text a girl after a good date, heard nothing for a couple of days so thought I'd try one more just to see if there is anything, after nothing back for most the day I deleted her off my phone as I thought that was that. Low and behold she gets back to me after I'd given up. Texting is a minefield, I hate it.
  23. Just looked it up, genius idea.
  24. . Anyway, I have a bottle of wine that im going to drink and it has a cork in it. But I cannot find the opener thing for it. And i've had too much to drink to consider to drive to the shops. This should be fun., Knife sharpening steel, screwdriver or similar and push the cork in. You should probably do it over a sink. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
  25. A little bit different but England have tried calling one end of Wembley the 'singing section' and I think it is the 'home end' now but the problem is that people go there on mass expecting an atmosphere rather than realising they actually have to do it themselves.
