  1. So you really want to pay it all back? Blighty may not exist as a national entity in 37 yrs, so screw them if they were thick enough to give out a home loan of that duration to Joe Bloggs. This is a non-negligible tail risk. Otherwise, inflation, should work for you the consumer on a loan of this duration as there is no way interest rates can be normalized (i.e., or what we though was normal), absent collapse of the current economic system. Return to the earlier point.
  2. Bernie should run as an independent! Be the true candidate for change of some sort or other.
  3. You are being fleeced, thank your neoliberal overlords. Current bond prices are very low.... due to nice people like the recently resigned Merv. US 30yr -- 2.71% UK 30yr -- 2.40% German 30yr -- <1% Ask a German bank for your loan!
  4. this season just keeps on getting better and better... just need the deadpool to start filling to top it off... good riddance you fat #$%^
  5. both Hutton and Richards should be consigned to the scrapyard.
  6. @Rodders, speaks volumes to the world we live in that you have to be so careful about even trying to broach this topic. Propaganda win for the Z-people
  7. errr.... but Genie, McG is the one generating a huge amount of this money and he is simply looking for some input now that he's the big fish. This is pretty standard practice in every other business in the world, even the other monopolistic US sports leagues. This is a textbook case of poor management on the UFC's part. To allow this situation to progress whereby unilateral action is required as the first public steps screams of rank amateurism. I would not be at all surprised to see Dana's head on the block, at least w.r.t. his current responsibilities, sometime during the next year, i.e., a UFC director of football may be required.

    @PieFacE try doing belly breathing
  12. Argentina -- check Venezeula -- ?, but really a proto-check Brazil -- proto-check Bolivia -- A push has already started there. Honduras -- Batter up! All the leftists one after the other. Argentina is the example here. See how quickly they settled with the bond hold-outs and re-integrated into IMF economic orthodoxy. Once could interpret these things as the natural order of things or as the prime example of soft power from the dominant political paradigm of our times.
  13. If the Pacific and European trade partnerships, plus the imminent realignment of South America take place, in addition to the detente with Iran, Obama will go down as one of the most significant presidents in imperial US history. Absent another clown presidency ala Bush, US global leadership would be assured for another generation. Simply unimaginable only 10 yrs ago.
  14. I basically agree... but, law is the law, and an unofficial private dental practice etc. would also result in much trouble. Now, I can't imagine the situation that girl found herself in, but the decision she made was not legal. However, any punishment should take into account the circumstances at play here and what appears to be the poor mental state of the girl at the time. I'm Irish and we have the same luddite religious shite thinking too... it's a shameful and embarrassing way to run countries.
  15. Immigration as a solution to feed the ponzi scheme that are the underfunded pension obligations of most western economies is simply shameful. Likewise the assertion that stopping immigration fixes anything is equally naive. Neoliberals are in charge, this is the problem. UK-in, or out does not change this in any way whatsoever.
  16. Fair play to the fans who attended today... joke performance from the "players" yet again. 2016, a shit year.
  17. Ya, but man utd. are going nowhere right now, and upping their ego so they continue on their current path would be positive in my view. I hate them too... but city and their scummy/thieving oil millions much more. My hatred of our playing squad has progressed to not caring... #$%#s!
  18. What a bunch of scumbags. Shouldn't this qualify as bringing the game into disrepute? Pardew & Ashley could both do with a good public slapping here.
  19. hope we get thrashed, Oldham, style... potentially help screw over either arsenal or man city, or at the very least make the top four battle interesting. That and I want this parasitic bunch of scumbag players to be professionally scared for life.
  20. Clinton's favourabiliy/likability ratings are atrocious and just like Cruz, she's getting a free pass while we all concentrate on Trump. The GOP post mortem in November will be fun if she wins, because they really should be able to beat her. Cruz will have no chance, but I wouldn't rule Trump out because he would call her out, and the people appear to be in the mood.
  21. +1 maqroll, Cruz is a religious nut, and a down right scary option. I tend to watch a bit of the morning business shows and it's so funny how much they hate Bernie 'cause socialism. Thing is, they don't have a clue what it is... the simple socialism == communism diatribe still works like a charm amongst the monied class.
  22. I have read that her flatmates found the fetus in the bin in their apartment/house a few days later, so I suspect this is not as simple as a girl wanting an abortion being punished.
  23. Rumors have Ryan demonstrating a functioning brain and ruling himself out of running later today. Cruz vs Trump (rusty spoon vs knife), and some people actually think Cruz would be the better choice...

@markavfc40 screw the pain, suffering and all that, you didn't give up and have an experience you'll never forget! There's simply nothing quite like a death march... fair play. That foot looks sore, so take care over the next few days not to aggravate it if anything is strained or worse. Regarding the next marathon in six weeks, you should try something like: day 0: FM done! week1: Recovery, recovery, recovery... minimal milage, just try and get your legs moving a little, 2-3 30mins run would be good with maybe up to an hour next weekend max, all at a super easy pace. week2: More of above if you need it but other wise try get back to 60-75% of your peak milage. week3: 90-100% peak milage. week4: 100% peak milage. week5: 60-70% week6: FM Try and get a little running in at your goal marathon pace in weeks 3/4/5 but above all just recover. You won't lose much/any fitness and it sounds like rolling your foot sabotaged you this time around.
