I always thought NATO was a military allience to defend its territory. Should it really do a full USA and undertake regime changes?

That's where I'm at. I don't like to fundamentally change the game if there isn't an obvious reason to do so.

You might be right, but I just feel we are looking to re-invent the wheel. I think it would totally change the feel of the game. Imagine one team is losing in the final minutes of a big game, and everyone rushes to take a throw in, to take a free kick. That 'pressure' is an important element of the game we enjoy - clock is ticking, we need to make a move. I really hope we stay with the current set up of 90mins, and added time where the referee actually accounts for additional breaks in play.

I'd like to see a Tottenham style full supporter stand, with corporate facilities in the corner. I don't know if sticking the corporate in the corner is feasible, but I assume it can be done well.

Let me be clear. Are you for time stopping for the duration of the game or just extra time?

No, it should not! No stopping the clock bollocks. There is a reason there is a MINIMUM of (let's say) 4 minutes added time, 4 minutes should be played and additional time added for time wasting. So 4 minutes could become 6 or 7 if players are taking the piss with 30 second throw ins. Why do most refs not adhere to the MINIMUM added time rule? Players should also be punished for time wasting. A few yellow cards and the problem will miraculously fix itself.

I think every part of modern game is better than in the 70s/80s, including strength. There is nothing skill wise better about football 40 years ago.

I couldn't disagree more. Villa will always be number 1, but for pure quality of football, give me Bayern Vs PSG anyday. That's entertainment and the very best players on the planet with the best tactics and most excitement. I think the dislike for International football is a very English thing. When Poland plays, it's like Christmas to me and I know most other foreign fans feel similar.

I always go to single games and never even looked at buying a ST. Obviously there is a long waiting list, and since I have a 3 year old it would be nice to have 2 season tickets in 2/3 years time. What's the best way to go about it going forward?

I used to think similar, but having watched a few West Ham games this season I changed my mind. He is a top midfielder. A player like him (and I i think Phillips is similar) is essential to a solid midfield.

Reminds me of the Nazi protest in the 70s Illinois. Worth reading up on. The Jewish lawyers actually defended the Nazi march under the argument that regardless of how offensive the protest is, they are constitually protected to free speech and allowed to express their opinion. I don't like Nazi marches as much as the next person, but I guess that's what a democracy is. If Russians want to drive through a city and showcase flags, we should let them - then we should discuss the atrocities the Russian state is doing.
