  1. In fairness, they played well and got undone by a dodgy penalty decision.
  2. lol? Honestly, football fans are entirely oblivious to form. It’s hilarious.
  3. Where the **** has this performance come from?! Could honestly be 7-1 up!

I don’t like Conor Coady at all - but Boro should’ve been down to 10 with Friend’s trip. Nothing given.

    Wolves

They’ve defended brilliantly given their poor discipline. Hardest game of the season negotiated - as I said earlier, they’ll reach 100 points this season.
  6. Kodjia of the last was pretty greedy BUT also pretty isolated. I think we’re better at getting forward now, on the whole, and an in-form Grealish linking with Kodjia is an exciting prospect. Let’s just hope he’s not rushed back!
  7. Fifa are looking into alleged racist abuse directed at France players during their 3-1 win over Russia. The world governing body said in a statement they were "collecting the different match reports and potential evidence" of the discrimination. Manchester United's Paul Pogba and Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele are said to be among those subjected to taunts. The match was played at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg, a host venue at this summer's World Cup. (Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43568047)
  8. A US police officer shot dead an unarmed man walking in traffic with his trousers down, and his family says it looks like "premeditated murder". Police dashcam video shows Danny Ray Thomas, 34, walking towards the officer on a road in Houston, Texas, last Thursday before a gunshot rings out. Deputy Cameron Brewer repeatedly shouts "get down on the ground" before firing. Both the officer and victim are black. (Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-43574249)
  9. Again, I’m not sure the manager agrees what to pay the players.
  10. It shouldn’t have been a penalty - the lad was already off balance and going down. If he wasn’t, sure, penalty - but he hasn’t actually been impeded by Tarkowski at all.
  11. He'd be a quality signing for any club really. Looked very good at Southampton and has shown glimpses at Man Utd despite a leg break and the Mourinho antics. Will only be 23 next season too.
  12. Why do many wealthy people shove their assets into offshore accounts under odd company names etc just to save on some tax? It's because they're all greedy ****.

Are you honestly suggesting Jerell Sellers is at the same level as these players? As an aside, what makes you so interested in discussing players who have left the club, rather than anything going on presently?
  14. Don't stress too much about the nursery - you won't need it for a few months in any case.
  15. No - it's massively different. Germany is a great example - huge football culture and huge beer culture but just not the same cultural behaviour at all. You can go to Oktoberfest wearing football shirts and there's just no issue. Imagine the absolute state of holding an annual alcohol celebration in England where people wear football shirts - it would go tits up after about an hour. Nights out in Germany are relaxed and fun. Drinking on the street is allowed and enhances the atmosphere. There's just nowhere near the same levels of intimidation. Again, in England, drinking on the street would lead to problems and bumping into someone's arm on a night out is a spark for a fight. From travelling in South America, again, just nowhere near the same attitude to alcohol. People are out later and they eat later, but there's an appreciation of food and drink and, then, they go partying. Overall crime is much scarier and violent, but not because people are pissed up. Travelling generally with different nationalities, you can pretty much identify the Brits from their actions - they're the ones chanting when drunk, pissing on the street, dropping their litter everywhere and showing general disregard for the locals. It isn't everyone, of course it isn't, but the stereotyping is complete correct. Other countries really aren't the same (perhaps Russia/Ukraine/Poland, I have no idea about them).

Well if you’re going to keep bumping it...
  17. I disagree, I think there’s a massive difference - and I think the massive difference is mainly because we have a drinking culture in this country that revolves around getting smashed. It doesn’t just stay with football, by the way, it’s the same with the whole “Brits abroad” thing just generally.
  18. I understand this to an extent, but we still travel badly. It isn’t the majority, of course it isn’t, but it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME England play outside of England. It’s a huge part of why I just cannot get behind the national team at all. I have no pride there. Our fans are clearings in the woods time and time again. Over 100 arrested in Amsterdam now, mainly for being drunk and disorderly (of course, absolute lads) and some even booed the Dutch national anthem. Yet more **** great work done you absolute geezers
  19. Business end of the football season, with the majority of International players likely to be playing for teams who have something to fight for... as if they’re going to go all out in a friendly.
  20. Even more shock horror. Some of the greatest football fans on Earth arrested in Amsterdam after clashes with the police yesterday. "Them police was what was making things worse with their heaviness and things", Paul Smith was quoted as saying. Twenty-five English football fans were arrested in Amsterdam on Thursday after violent clashes with the police. An Amsterdam police force statement said the "drunken" fans had thrown beer bottles at officers. (Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43520528)
  21. It's interesting that Ashley Young has said Luke Shaw needs to get his head down and work hard. There's obviously some sort of training issue with the lad.

    Wolves

Out of interest r.e: fitness, I noticed during our game that Wolves were really intense and up for it for the first half, or possibly part of the second half too, but then faded quite a lot. Is that how your games have been this season? Blitzing teams in the first hour and then being able to relax more and retain possession?

    Adama Traore

He's also only just turned 22. We live in a world whereby young players are written off so incredibly quickly. I'm pretty sure people are saying Keinan Davis and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy don't look up to scratch. 20 and 19 respectively. Sometimes, players need time to develop. It's taken Traore a while at Middlesbrough, but he's starting to get there.
