  1. What a game of cricket that was. Quite painful when you have decent money on Zimbabwe and they only need 7 runs for the final over though.
  2. Just drinking a 40oz tiger beer while watching the darts.
  3. Watching the sandy hook documentary on bbc. Americans and their guns, **** nutcases the lot of them. It's actually quite disturbing how much they feel they need them, even when the president tries to make some sensible changes to the law he doesn't have the power to beat the NRA. Absolute madness.
  4. The days of Young and Downing bombing down the wings with Milner and Barry in the middle seems like a long time ago. Not hard to see why we got 6th place 3 years running with that midfield.
  5. Have a feeling he will become a love to hate character for opposition fans. Been on a few of the baggies forums and they are already slagging him off big time. I'm willing to give him a chance personally, yes he doesn't have the pedigree of the majority of prem managers but for me we made the right choice with Sherwood over someone like Tony Pulis, you never know he might just be the next big thing, you don't have to work your way up through the lower leagues to prove your worth as a manager. Pulis will do a job at West Brom but no more than that, hes average at best and certainly wont be challenging for Europe. Give it a couple of years and we might have the next Mourinho or Brendan Rodgers on our hands. That's a better chance to take than employing a bang average manager like Pulis imo. Just look at a fellow prem team like swansea who i thought would drop like a stone after bringing in Gary Monk. It just goes to show that motivation of players counts for so much, if they are playing for you then you'll be ok. If you want to break the top 6 its basically spending a 100 million to get the job done regardless of who your manager is.
  6. It does seem strange that they are taking so much precaution with this but its probably linked to all the recent goings on. I remember that race where Webber literally took off over someones car, horrible accident but he basically gave the thumbs up and strolled away and then i think was driving in the next race.
  7. Agree on clown, good idea but frankly didn't give a shite about any of the characters, couple of good set pieces including the children's play area unfortunately don't save what is a very average film 5/10
  8. Anyone played any rayman on the xbone yet? Its the free game this month...played the first level and it seemed ok but wondering whether to plow on later.

Probably stayed in Alanya 7-8 times over 10 years as a kid, it was our go to holiday destination. Never saw the slightest bit of trouble in all the time i was there, some of the restaurant people and hotel people are the most friendly you will ever meet. Walk through the markets and you will be hassled but its never over the top and certainly nothing that doesn't happen anywhere else, if you enjoy the bartering you'll be in your element. Its honestly not a joke that you will run into more trouble in broad street on a Saturday night than you will over there.
  10. 12 points from 23 games, it beggars belief, it really does. How can we be in this position when we had 10 points from the first 4 games.
  11. What is the point of us as a club really? Easily the worst team in the league, I've genuinely forgotten what it's like to win a league game. At least the other results have gone our way again, not that it matters
  12. I think as found footage films go that's up there to be fair.
  13. Chronicle was ok, have you seen that?
  14. Are Taylor swift and karlie kloss an item? Please say yes...
  15. I think I saw that after the first episode he was in....
  16. Arrow was pretty shitty for me. Depends how into the comics you are I guess, personally I've never ready one but it was very meh to me.
  17. Which path are you taking mate? Theres two routes essentially, one is just the general footpath way but there is another whether you go left once you reach the big lake and go via Carn Mor Dearg ridge all the way round to the summit, not gonna lie its bloody hard but worthwhile. Took us the best part of 12 hours to finally reach the pub at the bottom but those beers certainly tasted nice. If you get a clear day some of the sights are stunning once you reach the top, they say you only get about 40 clear days a year and thankfully we got one. If you do venture into Fort William some of the food is unreal, i had the haggis and the neeps and tatties tasted like they had just been pulled out of the ground. I also got to try my first deep fried mars bar. Look out for Statio B - one of the least welcoming social clubs ive ever seen in my life. when we did the 3 peaks , we did the trail from the pub at the bottom to the summit .. was up and down in around 5 - 5 1/2 hours and that was with me having to half carry a girl who sprained her ankle at the summit ... at 12 hours the long route sounds a bit too long for my liking Depends if you want to be a real man To be honest if i was doing the three peaks challenge i would have gone the standard route as well. I have actually done the 3 peaks but not in the challenge form.

  19. I remember a few years ago in my last job, someone asked me to sponsor them for a 5k fun walk. This was a few days after i had come back from climbing Ben Nevis just because i fancied it and also taking into account i ran 5k a few times a week for fitness. You should have seen the look i was giving her as i signed my name and confirmed my 10 pounds donation.
  20. Yeah i appreciate the games model has now changed and the days of 20 odd games a month coming out is probably over. In some ways that suits me because im only a moderate gamer so one game a month (a really polished one) suits me but in the 15 months ive owned this console the general lack of games is quite surprising really.
  21. Bit quiet on the old games front at the moment. Anything good to look out for in the next month? For the 2 months post Christmas there has been nothing really, i thought these were supposed to games consoles?
  22. As I said about a week back, somehow the IT crowd passed me by when it was on. Just finished watching series 4 and it's brilliant, reminds me of peep show. Favourite moment was when Moss says 'You're building a sea parks out of mash potato aren't you'
