That hot counter was another gripe of mine, I would go in about 5pm ish after work and they would put all the left overs into bags and reduce them, only problem being the chips were literally like rocks and the sausages not much better. No excuse for food in that state.

Morrisons really is the best of no worlds imo. Most things very expensive, range of foods not great, very heavily weighted on cakes/junk food, branded foods seem to cost more than other shops. Their meat is fairly priced and they have a good craft beer selection and that’s about it. My weekly shop gets done in lidl mainly.

These truly are Halcyon days, we just win football matches now. Watkins was unreal today, so confident. Win against Chelsea and that has to wrap up 4th spot surely.

I’d love to say that would be him finished with the British public but we know that’s not the case. He’ll be back on social media calling everyone a bum dosser and lining up his 6th fight with Chisora no doubt.

It’s not negativity it’s called looking at both sides of the equation. I’m absolutely loving this season but it will be a massive disappointment if we don’t get champs league at the end of it.

Maybe i still haven't accepted our new reality under Emery but realistically i cant see us having this good of a season next year. It really is very hard to finish top 4 and Man U and Chelsea aren't going to keep dicking around forever are they. If we don't get Champs league this year it could be years before the opportunity comes again, that's why we cant let it slip. This could be the first step of something great in the coming year's or another missed opportunity before we fall back into the middle of the pack again.

Interesting to see the difference if opinions here. For me qualifying for the champs league is everything, even if we bomb out like Newcastle. The added exposure to the club, being able to draw in the top level players, the added money for the club.

Being able to interchange between him and Bailey is exactly where we want to be. On their day world class but can be average aswell, being able to switch back and forth based on who is currently playing better is better for the team and better to keep their motivation levels up. If we can do that across more positions in the team then we are laughing.

If Spurs are within 6 points of us come the last few games its going to be squeaky bum time as they should beat both Burnley and Sheff Utd, feels like a bonus that the city game now separates the two of them so they cant gain any momentum.

Have to admit, first couple of games he looked like Ramsey but not as good. He’s certainly changed my mind last 3-4 games. Reminded me more of Buendia than Ramsey recently.

Massive statement win that shows we are still one of the top teams. We’ve had a few periods since Christmas where it’s looked like we are clinging on to top 4 and maybe slightly out of position but wins like this are a nice reminder that we can beat anyone on our day. This wasn’t an off day for Arsenal they just got outplayed, the same as City already did at home.

Genuinely wouldn’t mind resting some for this, just don’t see us getting anything whoever plays and we should prioritise games we can win.

Don’t want to jump on the Haaland is shite bandwagon but he really has been crap tonight.

I do think Lando is an elite driver but he really needs to win a race soon to cement that. Can’t see him going to RB, not while Max is there anyway they just don’t need the competition between the drivers like that. Not sure he’s quite at Max's level anyway. McLaren isn’t a bad team to be at, he’s not going to be winning races anywhere until the RB dominance dies off.

Great race from Sainz, have never been his biggest fan and definitely saw Charles as the team leader but being given the boot has seriously lit a fire under him and he’s starting to embarrass some of the top people at Ferrari who decided he needed to be moved on.

We didn’t see a lot of Hamilton when he was dominating but you definitely saw a lot more than we do from Max, it’s almost like they are embarrassed to show the total dominance at this point.

06-09 were brilliant years. Cars were good and most importantly there was still refueling which added a massive layer of tactics we just don’t see anymore.

I’m sure Albon came out and debunked that theory about there being two cars in the garage. It’s just that Max has that edge of a couple of tenths and by the time the second driver has figured out where he’s gaining the time the lead driver has already started tweaking the car to find a few more tenths and they are forever playing catch up from there.

I thought the same. It weirdly felt like a bit of a throwback race where you were unsure of the winner, there were some shock retirements, couple of dodgy pit stops and differing pit stop strategies. Not a classic "race" by any means but a true F1 fan should have enjoyed that one imo.

I think Prometheus specifically is a lot deeper than the surface level, it’s a fascinating film to me. I think Ridley’s only mistake was tying Prometheus to the alien world, it probably would have worked better as its own standalone film. Covenant was his attempt to bring back in more traditional Alien action which probably didn’t satisfy either side enough, still an enjoyable film for me though.

Don’t quite understand why Ridley has had to abandon his trilogy to be a producer for what’s almost certainly going to be an inferior film leaving loads of loose ends from Prometheus and Covenant.

Champions league teams do not play as badly as we have in the last 2 games or in general since Christmas. We just aren’t there yet at all. we’ve got into this really annoying mid table routine of being good one week and terrible the next, top 4 teams don’t perform that way.
