I think you have to give most actors a pay cheque film here and there, they can't all be Oscar winners, at the end of the day they are earning a living like the rest of us. I would say its more disappointing when someone with an excellent portfolio then starts doing shitty films and is clearly just taking the money before they hang up their boots (I'm looking at you de niro!)

Not sure how relevant that is when you can turn it upside down as say 3 of the last 10 winners have carried more than 11st and now the course is slightly shorter and the fences more manageable. Here's some more pointers. 3. Nothing aged under 8 has won the national for 75 years. 4. Nothing aged over 12 has won the national for 92 years. That's another 3 horses down. 33 more to eliminate.

To be fair there are a few pointers you can follow when backing the national. 1. Don't back anything over 11-6 2. Don't back female riders Only 36 more runners to eliminate now, easy!

The more I see Stoke and Swansea comfortably mid table, playing good football and actually getting good results just depresses the hell out of me. Whatever stat you want to look at over the last 4 years we are a bang average team, really incredibly average.

Positives: -Benteke back in form -Attacking play much better -Stopped them winning the game and putting us right up shite creek. Negatives: -Painfully obvious Sherwood has no idea about tactics or organising a team. Its frustrating because we appear to have lost a manager who possibly had the tactics but couldn't motivate the players to someone who is clearly tactically naïve but is good at geeing up the boys. Once the honeymoon period is over its hard to see where Sherwood can take us to be fair. -Scored 3 against QPR and didn't win the game - does not bode well for the future -Our future is no clearer now than it was before the game

Unfortunately we have played QPR at the worst possible time, bit of confidence and scoring goals for fun. Draw not good enough really but thank **** we have got back to 3-3. Hard to see where 3 points are going to come from though, certainly not the next 2 games.

It just doesn't make any sense, when you consider hes just about in his prime (in terms of age) and you basically get 2 fights a year and he is wasting one on a nobody. If he wins easily, hes just beaten a bum, if he wins a close fight then he hasn't performed and god forbid what would happen to his career if he actually lost. Personally I don't think he is ducking brook, at the end of the day he is going after Pacquiao and Mayweather, you don't get a harder fight than either of those 2.

Kermode is a bit of legend but I wouldn't take his opinion on comedy films that seriously, he claims to have a tin ear for comedy and I think that's probably the case.

Watched Interstellar last night, better than i expected actually although definitely too long at nearly 3 hours, credit to Nolan though, the scope of that film was something to behold, despite all the plus points it still lacked something for me, couldn't score it more than 7/10 Also watched the crash reel - that was great Also attempted to watch Guardians of the Galaxy - Just not for me i'm afraid, don't want to criticise the film because its clearly well made if that's your thing but i don't think i will ever get the love for these comic book films.

Final watch or something it was called the found footage style cop film? yeah that was a good film i think he comes and goes, jarhead was good, the zowie bowie weird film was good, zodiac was good, brokeback was good, donnie darko isnt as good as its made out to be, prince of persia was shite, so was day after tomorrow Nobody listen to this man, his opinion is worthless! Donnie Darko is easily on my top 20 films of all time, still proud that i got on before all the hype, even managed to catch it in the cinema. Prisoners is great but mainly for Jackman.

Haha, yes i think you are probably bang on with that assumption. I really can't get my head around the fact that we could put a man on the moon in '69 and 45 years later we can't even make a smart watch that stays charged for more than 24 hours, something just doesn't seem right about that.

I can't believe they can tell you that 18 hours battery life for a smart watch is perfectly fine with a straight face, what an absolute farce that is.

Totally agree Stevo - essentially it all boils down to calories in vs calories out. The amount of times i've heard from my mom about the latest fad diet at work, can't help but laugh when you hear a phrase like "oh yeah shes been eating loads of bacon recently because shes on a green week so its free" Unfortunately your body doesn't know you are doing weight watchers super special beach body fad diet, all it knows is whats going in and whats going out.

I'm not really a fan of ice-cream but i was partial to an oyster or screwball from the vans back in the day.
