  1. What world are you living in??? You don't know who Jamie Foxx (one of the biggest actors in the world) or Ed Sheeran (one of the biggest pop stars in the world) are? I genuinely can't believe that, you live in Barry not lands end!
  2. For me his work in Hangover 2 was amazing. Oscar worthy in fact.
  3. Why would you want to stream your xbox to a surface tablet? I can understand streaming a game to the vita to play it while you move around the house but i don't get why this is needed?
  4. Same here, i probably go to the cinema once or twice a year but i definitely need to catch this.
  5. It does sound like you would be walking a tightrope if you started drinking again. Personally I never drink in the week just on the weekends and I'm happy with that but if you feel it could lead down a bad path it's probably best not to start at all.
  6. I must be imagining that 12 years a slave cleaned up over the awards season last year.
  7. I've been playing the crap out of this game in the last week or so, must have put in a good 10 hours, which for me is a lot. The basics are all so good, its hard not to like it even though its just a rehash of the 3rd one. They will have to do something different with the next one but i hear just cause 3 is coming out and that game should be brilliant if just case 2 is anything to go by.
  8. Funnily enough you haven't seen his best work prior to Whiplash which is the spectacular now.
  9. Serves you right for watching it! All i can hope is that you pirated the movie so no money changed hands for you to see it. Never seen a second of any of them and don't plan on changing that any time soon. Re: Michael Bay, I wouldn't be surprised if he thought they were great movies and loved by the public, its got to be the biggest grossing franchise of all time surely? Unless people start voting with their wallet we'll keep seeing them, can't say it bothers me though because i will just keep avoiding them. Only disappointing thing is that people are missing so many quality movies every year to watch mainstream shite like that.
  10. I think I am so fond of that movie mainly for the one scene where they have "Biagio" in the prison cell and the two police officers are watching him through the 2-way mirror, honestly havent laughed that much in years. Also who could forget the made up kidnapping notes.
  11. That guy sounds so uninformed it's laughable, except he's working for a news channel.
  12. Compared to the likes of Annabelle and Paranormal Activity 4, the babadook is oscar worthy.
  13. But was that down to being out of work and being worried about money? If you had had a substantial amount of money and not needed to work again would it have changed your mindset? hmmmm, fair point, i suppose that had something to do with it. But i think everyone needs the yin and yang, if it wasn't for the long days at work and the stressful times you wouldn't appreciate your free time anywhere near as much, unless you are an old geezer like mike then you've earned your free time
  14. That's obviously a joke? tonight no .....Katherine ryan just looks awful and dent had more cleavage on show tonight I thought you were all about the Riley?
  15. Honestly I would be bored to death within 2 weeks. When I was made redundant and was out of work for 3 months it really fecked with my head.
  16. That's obviously a joke?
  17. Totally agree, its so hard not to get pulled in. Its my favourite Tarantino film. Yeah, really shit. Worst film I've seen in 2014. What were you expecting re: Annabel? Watch Dead Silence for a better version of that film or alternatively watch the Babadook for a recent horror film done right for once.
  18. Alcy!!! By some definitions, that would be defined as problem drinking, yes. Personally I'd rather do that than stay dry during the week and get completely shitfaced at weekends. Totally agree, i was being facetious of course.
  19. I had a feeling Miles Teller was going to make it big, he has an effortless charm about him (and now i sound like a 13year old school girl)
  20. I am already being paid to do another reality show? Fair enough. My post wasn't aimed directly at you, just anyone who has the chance to do something like that.
  21. So if there was 50 grand on the line you wouldn't have been interested? I definitely think you can look at going in the bb house 2 different ways, one is that you are selling your soul to the devil, leaving your dignity at the door etc... but you can quite easily look at it another way. If you aren't committed to a job or kids, why the hell not? Regardless of what people say its still quite a unique thing that very few people get to do, you'll have a laugh, you'll probably cry and you'll definitely learn a few things about yourself you didn't know before going in, add in the fact that you could be 50 grand richer, I say why the hell not?
