  1. The amount of players that pop straight back up when the game carries on - after pretending to go down with life threatening injuries - show that they're taking the piss. Something should be done. It's not ok to pretend this is just 'part of the game'
  2. I like Pulisic. Always fairly impressed when he plays for Chelsea. He could work well in the winger/striker role we have in the two up front.
  3. Was Adams the shit stain that played on in that flare up against Leeds in the Championship? How the hell is he an international captain?
  4. Much better since Moore came on. He's actually very useful in this system. And my god you can tell Pulisic is a Chelsea player - trying to referee the match and whining like a bitch when he doesn't get his way.
  5. Wales look like a bunch of completion winners... ...and that competition was 'How shit can you play football?'
  6. First thoughts are that we are a completely different team since last year. The improvement is vast. With the ball, especially in our half, we are very good. The passing is sharp, often one touch, and with intent to work forwards. Blindkilde impressed me and looked very composed in CM. The LB, Pacheco, is so composed when passing out. Dali is out best player alongside Daly. Those two really are a step up from the rest of the team...but that's not to say the others are too far behind. Corsie in CM and Turner at CB had solid games as well. Mayling seems to play exactly the same way as Cash, with similar results. The main problem in today's match was that we were trying to play a forward ball too early in the first half. There were lots of moments where possession was wasted due to an attempted through ball that was just not going to come off. Secondly, whenever Reading came forward, every player seemed to find themselves the wrong side of the attacking player. Maybe it's because we focus so much on committing to attacks, but we could've been caught many more times by that. It was a good day though, and great to see the development in the team.

    Matty Cash

Polish is not a language for a lisp
  8. The bots that create the 'horny milfs in your area' ads are getting weird.

    Time Wasting

Thought this was a thread about having Gerrard for a year. Now that's a waste if time.
  10. So, if Archer had 16 apps (including 10 starts) you don't think he'd have around 4 goals in that time?
  11. I look at Summerville at Leeds and think Archer could be having a similar output of he was given the same opportunities.

    Matty Cash

You know when you play FIFA and hold the power button for too long? Well, that's Cash when he delivers into the box He did so, so well to beat the full back with tenacity to set up Emi's header...but why the hell didn't he just slowly roll the ball back for a first time shot a la Watkins and Ramsey v United? Instead, he belts it chest height as hard as he can. When Coutinho first came, Cash seemed to get a habit if calmly cutting it back for a few games, hopefully he can get that back.
  13. Let's not forget. That shitshow was actually given as a foul as well.
  14. Just doesn't look like he can move.
  15. I think the key word is 'instruction'. I wonder what the quality of that information was like from SG post Beale.
  16. But, without looking, I'd hazard a fairly safe guess that nearly all of them spent time in slightly different positions across the first 20 professional games of their careers whilst they were bedding into adult football...
  17. Ben Foster asked Neil Cutler "how good is Jacob Ramsey?" Cutler's response was carefully thought out and basically said he's going to be great but has struggled due to never knowing what position or role he was meant to be playing in because it changed so often. Thanks Stevie.

    Unai Emery

Eth Eth Eth Eth Eth, Eth Eth Eth Eth Eth...Bodymoor Heath.
  19. No, I thought he had at the time too but I think, bizarrely, it was actually for Dalot who had been gobbing off at something.
  20. Surely that will get picked up retrospectively? He had three swings at Bailey. I'm gobsmacked he got away with it in the match.
  21. What on earth is that fat knacker Shaw doing with his socks. I've got a severe irrational hatred of that. The way he wears them make them look like the last, unwashed pair out of a Sunday league kitbag with no stretch left. Gimp.
  22. Two things: I thought it was a penalty at the time. Probably still do even if the ball goes a long way. Is wish Ings had played him in down the line when he broke at the end. He was in! A great game from Ramsey in a formation that got the best out of his skillset. (You can copy that into about 7 player threads after today)
