  1. I think the thing is now, anyone of them could be rested, not dropped, depending on fitness and who we are playing. They don't have to play 38 games a season each they could get a rest
  2. Can't take it away from him, but Notts bowling was diabolical, won't get anyhing like that from the bears.
  3. Angel Di Maria cost more than Burnley have spent in their entire history
  4. I just hope this isn't some drawn out thing to be part of a deal seeing Vlaar go to united
  5. I don't think that is the point. I think the press or authorities use a term to identify a group where there appears to be a particular problem. So when talking about operation Yew tree, the term celebrity appears all the time, not singer or dancer or actor or DJ. It is the same as the problem the Catholic church have had with some priests, They don't use the term Christian, Presbytarian, or Methodist, They use the term Catholic, because that's the group which identifies them most closely
  6. That's not quite right though is it. The report in the Guardian and the BBC, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28942986 http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/aug/26/rotherham-sexual-abuse-children Do not mention any religion but clearly say it was a Pakistani problem. This does not mean all Pakistani men are child abusers at all. Part of the problem it seems was that staff involved feared being called racists, and councillors believed highlighting the race element would give Oxygen to racist ideas yet the report also says The majority of those behind the abuse were described as Asian, while the victims were young white girls. It seems to me that more effort was put into not making this a race issue rather than tackling the problem. But I do agree with your point that the BNP show no interest in white Paedophiles. But they are just racists, sorry I thought I was quoting seat68 not replying to AWOL
  7. I think its so important for them to have the facts. Its not like a General election where you can change your mind in 5 years. The Other thing I'm wondering, If there is a Yes vote, and Scotland get their share of the Oil. What would happen if The Hebrides and Shetlands wanted independence from Scotland. Would they get their share of the oil, Wouldn't it make them some of the richest people on the planet?
  8. Cheers Kev , thanks a lot. I didn't notice yesterday but did he wear shinpads?
  9. I think that's a bit unfair on Glamorgan, I didn't read it as they should decide who should be elected in Gaza, more that they didn't trust Hammas and like Egypt they closed their borders. On point 2, have you read it? because it does say Hamas is talking about the end of the occupation as the basis for a state, but at the same time Hamas is still not ready to recognise the right of Israel to exist, Are points 4 and 6 almost the same. Glarmorgan did say that loads of munitions were apprehended on a ship from Iran, and the bbc report does state that if the ship docks in Israel it will ship the aid to Gaza once it has been checked.
  10. Boycott is a right old git in real life. Met him once, nobber
  11. Bairstow for me. Not because he's the right choice, but if we get him in and Read to help him, it wouldn't half help the Bears, Maybe bring Bresnan back as well
  12. I think drop Cook as captain and quite a few players form will improve
  13. I think that with a quality batsman, he should have is own position. So if its 3 4 or 5 he should stick to it. I can't think of any recent test batsman who gets moved around as much as Bell. Considering he has probably been our best batsman for 4 or 5 years now, its poor from England. When you think of Ballance, what happens. Englands approach is, well he prefers 3 so we'll move Bell. Same when Root came in We'll move Bell. Pietersen leaves, we'll move Bell. I just think that's wrong.
  14. I know what you mean, It would help, but wasn't it last season he was Englands cricketer of the year. The other thing is what's his role? He moves up and down the batting order not because of his form, its because of everyone else's. 2 years ago he was 5, then 3 now with some youngsters it 4. We should just put him at 3 and leave it at that
  15. No No No with Bell, he is the best batsman in England. His last 2 knocks were with the changed Ball at Notts which took 5 or 6 wickets in 25 overs, whilst every other ball in the match took 25 wickets in about 500 overs. The other being on a green oval pitch taking 16 wickets in 2 days. I think he is still in the top 20 run scores in the county championship this season, not bad considering he has only played about 4 or 5 games
  16. I don't think I have shown off or anything. I certainly wouldn't with his friends or parents of his friends. But level 6 is quite an achievement for him, its quite impressive nationaly
  17. My Son got Grade 6 maths at primary school. Quite a big achievement, the only one at his school. Then the same day we got the results, it was his end of school leaving do, where they did a 60's night. He gave a great performance of Ain't no mountain high enough.
  18. Yep. It's just a tool used by people in power to brainwash young men to 'die for their country' in some warzone and for the people left behind to think that's okay. But isn't it part of human nature? All over the world people are generally behind their own country. People mention wars, that's part of it ok. But what about the other stuff, I've never met Mo Farrah, but I felt quite proud when he won Olympic gold. I'm sure there were people all over the world cheering their heroes on.
  19. Isn't the problem with multiculturism the fact that eventually the whole world becomes one culture, then the good things that make people different become lost.
  20. That photo reminds me to one of the most weird incidents in my life. I was working in South Africa, and 3 of us rented a car to go to a game reserve. We drove a while then one lad said I wonder who won the fight. So I turned the radio on, just as the reporter said Mike Tyson was disqualified for biting Holyfields ear. So i turned the radio off. I couldn't have timed it better
  21. Well if he is executive director, shouldn't he be at the head office?
  22. Well according to the Guardian he travels there several times a month. So how about in the Job interview they tell the applicant what they stand for and a requirement is to live nearby?
