  1. well on the UKIP website it states http://www.ukip.org/policies_for_people UKIP opposes plans to charge patients for visiting their GP. Where you maybe confused is where they say that it is up to the Traige clinician to say they need not be seen within 2 hours, they would still be seen within 4 hours, unless they paid. Furthemore the any charging will be the same as prescriptions, i.e. If you get free prescription you wont be charged.
  2. where do you get this UKIP want's to charge us all for a visit to the GP, I can't seem to find it.
  3. I'm not sure that's true Tony, wasn't early 2000's when Sangatte was on the news everyday?
  4. That in itself is down to all the major parties, they should be educating the country on what being in the EU actually means to the country. To most people being in the EU means rules about square bananas and successive governments have failed to put that pro-european message out there even though they are meant to be pro-european. I think this is absolutely right. There needs to be a debate and quick. I do hear a lot about straight bananas and also that 3m jobs will be lost. I'm sure there are pro's and cons on either side. It seems all we get though is vague so called facts from any interested parties
  5. So nothing like the original poster said then.
  6. Their policy on green issues, is to abolish the department of the environment and rescind all green policies. And I got that from the UKIP website. I have just been on their website, I couldn't see either of those points, could you give me a link please?
  7. nor is the head of state elected by election in England
  8. yup Like I said, the only national election not won by Labour or Tory for about 100 years. I wonder why you think most of the country would be out of work if we were out of the EU, Would they not seek to trade with us?
  9. the European election 2014
  10. I would think they had to be invited, seeing as they are the only party in about 100 years to beat both Labour or Tory in any form of national election.
  11. Couldn't you also say that about the Labour policy on Immigration. Hearing Harriet yesterday I'm sure she said Labour will be announcing tough new immigration policies in the next few weeks, It seems to me that one poor poll, or bad by election and they will change their opinion. And why oh why oh why would I give a crap about Labour's immigration policy, not only that but what the flying row of ducks does it have to do with my point. Why does every point about a right wing party have to be challenged with but Labour? Labour are a right wing party, have been for 20 years, I don't support them, cop on to this point and argue a point with a more mature argument or don't bother I'm sorry if I offended you. The point I was trying to put across was It seems a little one sided just to have a go at one Party without comparing it to the others. It seems a little pointless to say UKIP are one thing and imagining something different elsewhere in the political spectrum
  12. Couldn't you also say that about the Labour policy on Immigration. Hearing Harriet yesterday I'm sure she said Labour will be announcing tough new immigration policies in the next few weeks, It seems to me that one poor poll, or bad by election and they will change their opinion.
  13. Listening to Harriet Harman on the Radio, have Labour just made a volte-face about immigration?
  14. I still think its just opinion though. You could argue that neither of the 2 main parties have done right by the NHS, and some different approach is needed
  15. it doesn't have to as black and white as that though does it. It's all opinion. So if the Private finance initiative is the biggest privatisation of the NHS, an Opinion might be that both Labour and Tories are trying to privatise the NHS.
  16. So why did Rooney look up to Frank Lampards' mum when he scored the pen
  17. Doesn't that put the UK in a reasonable position overall? 3rd or 4th best maybe
  18. I didn't know where to put this but anyway. The reason the Scottish lower divisions come in first either on Sky or the Beeb, is that they still have just the 10 minutes for half time, I often wondered why.
  19. It appears to be rubbish though. On checking on ONS the muslim population is only about 3% and benefit fraud they can get within about 750,000 but immigration they can only get within 2,500,000. Not disputing the opinion side of it though
  20. I don't agree with that, whilst it is a nice thought that people would pay more for products, to make a fairer society, rarely do they pay their money for it. You only have to look at all the book shops closing because Amazon sells cheaper, Or village or town centre shops closing because a cheaper supermarket opening nearby.
  21. Here's a thought on this, If they raise it, but the increase could be offset against corporation tax, that way the only people out of pocket really would be the Amazons of this world, who pay little or no tax at all
  22. But Peter at the time nooses were left at polling stations in the US, there was no voting allowed in Russia
  23. can't believe no one's picked Rooney
  24. I like what you wrote, one addendum to that though is would they be allowed in. With both main parties here trying to do something with immigration to some degree, and Scotland outside the EU for now. The only way to reduce numbers is reducing non EU immigration
