  1. I used Taroni's. Got £120 for scrapping a car a few months back, and they dealt with all the paperwork. That's if you're in brum.
  2. Was that miss not offside then? I haven't seen the game other than live and was at the other end. Saw the lino's flag but wasn't sure whether it was for a goal kick or offside, but when play restarted I'm sure the keeper took the free kick from outside the six yard box, so I assumed he was offside anyway.
  3. Have a season ticket and got no plans Sunday. But I'm just not sure if I can be arsed. Might do something more constructive than go and watch this bunch piss me off again and ruin another day.
  4. At least we'll have less of this bollocks next season.
  5. I've started a PledgeBank - I'm looking for 30 other generous people to donate £20 to pay for an air ticket for Randy to come and watch the Villa get stuffed, since he's too tight to pay for himself. If we can get 30 people, maybe it might shame him into showing his face once in a while? Worth a try. http://www.en-gb.pledgebank.com/Randy2Villa'> PledgeBank page! You won't actually have to spend £20 I imagine, so please sign up
  6. I think Bent, Benteke and Weimann will all go (I really hope Weimann stays but the lad deserves better than us - what a player). Ireland, Zog, Given will all still be here as no one will pay them the same, and with the drop in money, we won't be able to go and buy anyone. I think Gabby will stay and we'll be wholly reliant on him to get us goals, as our other strikers will be Bowery and Delfouneso, the latter of which is not particularly setting the Championship alight at the mo. Vlaar I think will stay as he seems to have a conscience and looks the sort of bloke with a bit of fight (I hope Weimann stays for the same reason). Guzan will have plenty of offers in the Premier League I imagine. I think we'll struggle in the Championship, and I can see us lingering in the bottom half of that division for a while until we get rid of the wages of people like Ireland and Given, and can then maybe afford to make a push for promotion. The 'Five Year Plan worked' brilliantly eh Randy?
  7. Too little, too late. four at the back and Weimann should have been done a long time, not when we've already lost to every bollocks around us
  8. I'm all for it. Should have been built 30 years ago, but better late than never. Surely a lot of the money will come back into the economy anyway through job creation and taxes. Midlands Today tried to convince me otherwise, as they had a feature on the line passing near a stable in Warwickshire. Oh, the horror! Some of the hyperbole in their story was ridiculous. People talking about their lives being 'utterly devastated'. I live 100 yards from a train line and my life is just fine. Get some perspective ffs. Hopefully this'll lead to Brum Airport being expanded too as it'll be another London airport (though if they try and call it 'London Birmingham Airport' like they've done with Luton, I will riot), and be good for the city. Shame I'll be about 110 years old by the time it's finished.
  9. Pretty much the only player of ours I really like. Would be well pissed off if he leaves because of our stinginess. If Bent. Benteke and Weimann all go if we go down, then who's gonna get us the goals? Bowery and Agbonlahor hardly have great goalscoring records.
  10. 0-4, two from corners, <30k crowd, most of whom have gone by 80 minutes.
  11. Given they have so many players out of contract this season, I almost hope they stay up, so they have no players next year, get hit with a points deduction, we can hammer them 8-0, and send them down with minus points into oblivion.

    Snow Watch!

I think it's access to the ground that's the issue rather than the pitch. I imagine if it freezes over tonight and we have a bit more snow in the morning as forecast, it'll be off. A few lower league games already off.
  13. Good luck either way, but make sure to give it a lot of thought and don't rush into it.
  14. And you pretty much have to stop thinking about it as 'your house' - it won't be any longer - it'll be a business asset, and someone else's home which they don't have to let you in to if they don't fancy it, regardless of what you put into the contract and what the letting agents tell you (statutory right to quiet enjoyment trumps your rental contract, and letting agents are parasites who don't know the law - there are no qualifications needed, any prat can set up a letting agency).
  15. And the hefty commission estate agents will take for finding new tenants which could happen every six months, on top of a large management fee if you're not letting the property yourself. I'd be tempted to find an online agency who just puts it on Rightmove. Everyone uses Rightmove these days. I put a holding deposit down on my house within five minutes of it appearing on Rightmove. A house across the street which uses an agent which doesn't advertise on Rightmove has been onthe market for four months now.
  16. Bear in mind possible void periods where you're between tenants. Also the cost if you get some scutter who legs it and the damages are above the cost of the deposit, and they don't have the resources to make it worth your while going through court. and also the hassle of getting someone to leave if they really don't want to leave and you want the house back (you give a section 22 notice requesting they leave the property with a full two rent months notice, but it's onl really a request to leave - lengthy court processes are needed to actually evict someone). I'd have thought your mortgage, or at least the interest on the mortgage, would be tax deductible though?
  17. I don't know why I am going. A tanking and a lot of trouble I expect. Half five seems foolish.
  18. On another note, how about popping a suit on Lambert rather than sitting in the dugout looking like a stig? You're supposed to be in charge of this leaderless bunch of kids, so try looking like a leader ands stick a suit and tie on. Unless you're coming on to play, which probably couldn't hurt.
  19. Back or sack. No point doing nothing. Preferably back but I can't see it. Lerner has the money, it's whether he has the interest. If not, **** off.
