  1. Sir Bobby or Jackie? Lotus Carlton was just insane, many a track day thanks to my Dad working for Vauxhall.
  2. I learnt to drive in one of them, my dads company car working for Vauxhall
  3. @mjmooney there wasn’t a “different” menu under the counter. But their fans really are shite and the atmosphere generated by them is truly awful. Game lost move on to the next one.
  4. Their fans are shit and the atmosphere is pathetic
  5. Mike, I haven’t seen that on the main menu maybe it’s an under the counter menu when you check in
  6. So from not having a ticket to now thanks to my wife’s cousin, having one in their new sensory lounge which officially opens against us. So for those of you in the North West who get Granada reports look out for me on the TV over the weekend. A quiet victory for us will do me fine.
  7. Gives some of our supporters someone else to sing about
  8. Only if the queues at the ports last for weeks on end. I know we have planned sufficiently, can’t say whether the media today has helped, not sure how much toilet paper was purchased today mind, or whether the prices have risen.
  9. Going to see my 83 year old Mum on Friday, can’t wait for the next instalment of her Boris stories telling me that he’s only doing what the country wanted. Last time I saw her I gave her a new expression that he couldn’t give his Johnson in his trousers, she seemed to like that. Cant wait to hear her views on Priti’s speech
  10. @Rugeley Villa back yesterday and I have to say it was a brilliant break. The Vatican was amazing in many ways, Sistine Chapel was rammed and not very quiet but St Peters was inspiring, my wife got to say a prayer for lost family which was quite moving. No wonder the Catholic Church is so rich with all those tourists passing through everyday. we got pissed wet through on the Coliseum tour but wouldn’t have missed it. we did the bus tour hop on hop off service and used the metro quite a bit as our hotel was right by the Termini Station. like you amazed by the number of Americans but also the Chinese who had serious money to spend in the boutique shops by the Spanish steps. couple of things stood out for me, how many young woman walked around on their own late at night without a care in the world, and homeless people sleeping out without being disturbed especially by the station. we did get scammed on the metro by a polite Italian man in a suit who helped us get the 24hr passes by offering to buy ours along with his as our card wasn’t registered, got back to the hotel to realise he had switched the tickets for the 100 minute ticket valid for one ride only, but fortunately only 12 Euro. final thoughts it was clean and didn’t smell and am amazed by the lack of high rise buildings, would definitely go back, if only for the tiramisu served at breakfast in our hotel. Maybe not use the taxi service again as the journey back to our hotel from the Pantheon was nerve wrecking, maybe just the driver who told us he was the best driver in Rome.
  11. I finished with a girlfriend due to her obsession for counting. I wonder what she’s up to now. Everyone knows where the big apple is, but who knows where the Minneapolis.
  12. Agreed @Xela but to see my daughter get so upset about it really brought it home, not going to lie but when it started I jokingly said I would eat a placemat then I realised I am no better although I don’t post on social media (VT an exception)
  13. BBC1 documentary on Jesy from Little Mix, was not expecting it, but how are young people so hateful on social media. To make by bullying someone so young feel that way, is it jealousy.
  14. Normal stuff like the Vatican, Mrs has a strong faith, I just want to see the coliseum if honest. Never wanted to go eventually gave in, as enough people have said that it is a brilliant place to visit. She might even get me to Venice next. Did you do the @peterms recommended walking tour?
  15. Hi Ruge How was Rome, I am over there in 2 weeks time for a long weekend with the Mrs
  16. I have just put mine for Everton on the ticket exchange, L5, due to now having to be in Newcastle until 7pm on Friday
  17. Club said it was because I was trying to load cash from a computer outside the UK, understand that as work vpn directs to Sweden, just tried again and still not working. Don't remember the wife having those shoes this morning though
  18. Is anybody else having an issue uploading ecash to their season ticket, I have tried for weeks now, and I keep being told the financial institution has declined the top up. This has happened on every single bank card I have so hoping it's a glitch and not because the Mrs has spent all my money.
  19. Dem really does need to change his signature block now then.
  20. Aah Harlington, many a long lock ins at the Carpenters Arms back in the late 80’s when I lived there to commute into London.
  21. Just watched the transfer show, and as per the tweet above he said he doesn’t think we are finished. Also interestingly of the 6 promoted clubs who have spent over £50m in the first summer only Fulham have failed to survive, so let’s hope we aren’t doing a Fulham but are doing what will be known from now on as a Villa.
  22. ITSAWS (That counts right) Welcome back Tyrone
