Well Shay Logan claims that Tonev called him a "black c***". The problem is that it wasn't heard by anybody else and the TV cameras failed to pick it up, so it basically boils down to the word of one person against another. If the only evidence is the word of one person contradicting the testimony of another person, how can this case go any further than an accusation? Unless other evidence exists or Tonev admits the accusation (unlikely), I don't see how a punishment can be given.

Thought Curcic was actually a very good player. Saw him in Stoodie Bakers once. Such a big nose. Anyone remember that free kick he scored when he flicked it up and volleyed into the net? Wasn't the flicked up and volleyed free-kick scored by Mark Draper? Perhaps there were two.

Perhaps due to it being fairly lengthy and not being from a tabloid, I initially made the mistake of giving this report more credence than it should have. Closer inspection reveals it to be a collection of widely known incidental facts that have been titivated with a few 'believe' and 'said to be' lines. Might be true, might not be. How do people have the cheek to call themselves journalists and take money for this, albeit inoffensive, pap?

Interesting. Looks like we should know the result between 5 and 6 am. I'll be driving between 4:30 and 6:30 on Friday morning so at least I will have something interesting to keep me awake! Incidentally, I wonder if a level of public disorder is expected in the days after the result, particularly if it is a narrow NO.

I knocked Delph down from 70% to 60% based on his decent England performance. I think most players will be more attracted by a large value contract and the opportunity to play in the Premier League for a decent size club than the contract status of a manager yet to prove himself convincingly.

If the vote is NO by just a few percent (say 52:48), I believe the losers will be calling for increased devolution and another independence vote to be held within the next few years. If the vote is YES by a similar margin, will the losers be calling for another vote and if so, will they be heard?

Yes playing in Europe when our home game was at the hawthorns. Wtf? Tell me more... I was there but it was a long time ago in the intertoto, I think. The ref blew for full time, the players looked confused, a linesman had a word with the ref who quickly waved play on. We were already down to 10 men after a tackle that looked like their pkayer should have gone instead. A distant memory and way OT.
