  1. Just about plausible. Have they yet asked him why he was certain it was an intruder and why he was certain it couldn't possibly have been Reeva in the toilet?
  2. Very sorry for you and your family, Mike. At least you know your Dad is no longer suffering. I suppose it makes me a 'typical bloke' that I'm struggling to add anything else. I wish I could but it is too upsetting for me. Sorry.
  3. Have they asked him - 'Why did you not think it could possibly be Reeva that was in the toilet?'? If I woke in the middle of the night and heard a window open in my ensuite, I'd think my missus was in there. If I thought it strange that the window was being opened, I'd check to see if my missus was still in bed next to me - that would take a second. Have they checked whether Reeva's fresh fingerprints were on the window handle/frame?
  4. ...and there was me thinking you'd taken up dessert making. ;-)
  5. Having read about Shaggy's rather odorous experience, this might have been the entrance he ploughed on with.
  6. It doesn't have to be like that though, does it? Find the right one and there's no reason not to be still getting it 2 to 5 times per week after 20 years of marriage.
  7. I think you are kidding yourself if you believe you have split over not wanting to get married. You say you can't commit and yet the biggest commitment is having kids - soon you will have two together. My parents divorced when I was 7 and were both remarried by the time I was 11. I'm sure they would prefer not to have anything to do with each other ever again but they had to because of my brother and I. 35 years later and they still have to attend the same events because of their joint grandchildren. I can understand being against a day that could cost thousands but if you loved her and are already in the biggest commitment anyone can make (kids), you wouldn't be that fussed over whether you were married or not. So, if you really love her, why not marry her? I'd rate the commitment level of marriage at less than 10% of the commitment of having children together. If you don't love her enough to stay with her that's fair enough, but I wouldn't blame commitment.
  8. Improvement in the 114th minute won't help for the majority of games.
  9. Playing Sylla where he was on Monday, was out of position. Sitting high up in the away end I could not figure out what the hell our formation was. It was like a 4 -3-1LM 2. Sylla is good at tackling and passing the ball on to the likes of Westwood and Delph, what he's not good at is trying to thread balls through to Benteke. I won't get in to a debate where one pretends to be a better football manager than another. What I will say is the hawthorns doesn't have a 'high up'! I'm not pretending to be a football manager, but from where I was you could see the way players were positioned, our right side was non-existent. I like Lambert however his tactics in that first half were dreadful and he should be questioned on it IMO. Could it be the players were straying from instruction, depending on how they were reading the game at the time. It seems that it only takes 10 yards for one formation to look like another. On another note, after a game where many predicted a loss, why are many so focussed on the manner we went behind and not equally on the manner we fought back? Formations and tactics included, it appears to me that the game hung on individual errors and then being able to get 30 minutes out of some of our best players returning from injury/illness.

But the fact that we were so poor until we changed from our starting formation means that you don't have to be a 'football manager' to come to the conclusion that SIT has. I don't get too hung up on formations either. I don't know what ratio of importance should be placed on the formation versus how the individual players perform on the day. Also, I've no doubt a football manager thinks certain formations suit certain opponents but whether the players carry that out correctly is another matter.

Ahhhh....even wallowing around in their 'stands' is high up ....remember ?? Highest ground in England and all that ? Probably the boggies best claim to fame.

  13. The BBC should announce his award but then refuse to present it to him. Let him taste his own medicine.
  14. You missed Webber and Vettel chatting at another point and Webber's appreciation at Vettel's insistence that Webber was interviewed first in his last F1 race, instead of the traditional race winner? No one is claiming Webber's sour grapes don't linger a little but I don't think a few seconds 'small talk' with his own team principal had Vettel too worried! Honestly, some need to get over Vettel's poor judgement over the 'multi 21' instruction in one race, 18 races ago! Either that or remember Webber was chiefly to blame in taking out Vettel in Turkey 2010. Maybe you didn't see the bit I was referring to. Vettel and Horner were stood waiting, Alonso too. Webber was walking over and I'm sure the Vettel and Horner expected him to go over to them. Instead he completely blanked them and started having a good chat with Alonso leaving Vettel to do the awkward interuption thing as he could see he looked a bit left out. I don't recall writing anything at all about 'Multi 21' or an incident 3 years ago. Looks like we've got a bit of a Vettel fanboi here. I did see what you were referring to, just didn't see it as any kind of incident better than than the race which had a decent amount going on. If I were Webber, I think I'd have chose an old friend to chat to instead of a now ex-team mate who kept beating me, especially knowing he already had another team mate to talk to. I didn't claim you mentioned multi 21 or the crash in Turkey, hence my use of 'some' and not 'you'. My comment was in regard to those who moan about a driver seemingly because he keeps winning (hardly a fault), or hang on to a judgement error when nearly all drivers (Webber included) have dropped a bollock or three in their time. No 'fanboi' though, just know talent when I see it.

  16. They're awesome and they're Volkswagen . that's the appeal. I can see the appeal of being able to see some sights on the cheap and having sex on the road in relative comfort but, beyond those two albeit attractive traits, not as cool as people imagine.
  17. Mixed messages there; I'm used to 'cool story bro' being used with a massive hint of sarcasm!
  18. Chris Eubank, down to earth, really? What with his tweed suits, riding whip and monocle? I met Eubank on a quiet off-peak train leaving Euston to Birmingham about ten years ago. I saw him leave the adjacent first class carage and he sat diagonally opposite me in standard class. We chatted a little about nothing in particular, his voice unmistakably Eubank. He certainly seemed down to earth, albeit wearing his trademark suit and clutching an expensive looking document wallet. When the train manager asked to see our tickets he told Eubank he was entitled to sit in first class. Eubank replied he was happy where he was.
  19. I have met Arthur Scargill. I was whipped so hard by a stripper that the welts were still visible two weeks later on my wedding day. I have completed a skydive.
  20. Bozzy? £20k wouldn't last him long.
  21. Vassell Vassell was also my guess. Tea boy?
