I think most of us agree that it’s either Watkins or Ings through the middle and not both on the pitch at the same time.

A 20 minute Bertie cameo against his former club incoming. He’ll fall over the ball a couple of times, play stray passes continuously but then dribble past two players and smash it in the goal from 25 yards to get us the winner! That’s our boy

We’re playing some lovely stuff at times and really holding our own. Just need to be more clinical in the final third.

Cash has done this time and time again and almost the same as the Kane challenge last season. Needs to cut it out of his game.

May have been mentioned on here already but we followed the “Phil Vickery” cooking of the Turkey for the first time today and it was so easy, and faultless. Basically steaming your Turkey and roasting the skin towards the end. Brilliant stuff and highly recommend

Party food. Now I like my food and am quite a big fella but one thing bugs me… Why is it if I make/cook party food or do a buffet, I don’t feel like eating any of it but if I go somewhere, I can literally eat the whole table? Annoying.

Just watching Robin of Sherwood on ITV4. Still an enjoyable watch after all these years and a young Ray Winstone in it. Enya soundtrack throughout. What’s not to like.

Think it’s due to start anytime around now. We should hear/see something within the hour hopefully.

1 win in 17 games is awful really but when you look at the other bottom 2/3/4 teams they’re just as bad, which means Newcastle are still in touching distance of them. January is going to be such an interesting watch. My gut feeling is that they won’t go all ridiculous with spending and we’ll likely see some very expensive loans.

Yes it is, but we just don’t have an adequate back up to Martinez right now. Steer just doesn’t carry the same confidence and quality.

Finished work now until 30 December, thank goodness. Whatever happens over the next week or so with Covid/restrictions etc, I’m going to make the best of it.

No issue at all with rotation, I just don’t want to see Watkins and Ings on the pitch together at the same time. I really think it weakens us.

Let’s hope they have a real tough game this evening and get a few knocks. Ben Mee missing at the weekend would be good.

He just doesn’t look right when pushed out wide and it makes us totally disjointed as a team. He has to be the man to come off if we bring Ings on.

He needs to be the Watkins back up in the lone striker role. It’s really obvious now that having him and Watkins on the pitch together just doesn’t work. It makes us totally disjointed. I suppose if he doesn’t want to be back up man, then we may need to move him on and replace but only if he pushed for a move.

Big difference is he now looks fit compared to earlier in the season. He’s a very solid and dependable full back, just not a wing back.

He’s going to the very top isn’t he and hopefully he’ll achieve most if not all his ambitions with us. I could even see him being a great England manager eventually. It’s still very early days but we’re becoming very hard to beat and showing some real flair going forward. Long may this continue, as it’s become really enjoyable watching us again.
