How would it be better. Lerner wants the club to support himself, were all screaming for him to invest. How could we possibly generate the funds required for year on year investment. Villa talk is also testemant to the fact that fans don't agree on anything.

It's become a bit loose fitting. I had gloves on, took them off, ring must have fell off. Not inside gloves.

Does anyone have any contacts for the guys who look after parking at the barn social club? I managed to lose my wedding ring last night and as a bit of a desperate shout want to see if anyone's handed it in. I've tried the net with little luck and also the club. Not an expensive ring but a lot of sentimental value. Any help really appreciated.

Id hate us to go down, I really would. But I dont want more seasons like the last 3 and unless we stick with a plan, and follow it through I dont see anything changing. Just really really hope we stay up. Dunne back would be massive. Would also draft Warnock back in and try to get something out of Bent. Those three players could be bigger than any signings we could hope to make, though would splash any cash I had on a central midifeld player.

Ive not really been a lambert fan, but to sack him just makes the situation worse. We need stability, to pick a strategy and stick with it. Sack him now for who...Curbshley? If so whats the long term plan? I think we have to be prepared to let him take us down and stick with what were trying to do. If were going to make short term moves, id rather it was players related, older heads who might not make sense financially, but might keep us up.

Would rather see us follow the spurs model. Pay bigger signing on fees and more manageable wages.

Without dunnes performances at the end of last season, we'd have gone down. We badly need him back. Best centre half at the club for me.

Again you don't know his remit. Like most ceo's you'd imagine he is targeted with increasing sponsorship revenues, reduce wages, reduce debt, assist the manager with his transfer targets. Arguably he's achieving most of them. The football is the fault of the football men. Mon, Houllier, Mcleish, Lambert. All have received significantly more backing than many of there peers at other clubs. Most have under achieved with what they've been given.

We need 4 or 5 in the midfield. Proper wingers who help the fullback. Would probably play gabby left as I think they'll target getting wide and taking on the fullbacks.

agree with above, to win the second leg i think we'll need to score a minimum of 4 goals. If we lose to Southampton on Saturday, depending on the manner of the defeat I think Lambert would have to go. Our form would be very poor, the players dont necessarily seem to be playing for him, his transfer record is very hit and miss, defensively we are a shambles. I want him to turn things around, I want him to reduce the wage bill but staying in the prem is the most important thing.

If there was any truth in this id be fuming. Loaning any player let alone a proven goal scorer to a relegation rival, would be the most stupid thing ive seen Lambert do since he signed Joe Bennett.

wasnt it that we were minutes away from an 11 point lead, then conceded two late goals to stoke to draw. I think Arsenal had a game in hand maybe as well.

I like him, I dont think he would have got into MONs midfield but hes the best we have currently. Cant see why he wouldnt keep on improving.

Id like to see him given a consistent run in the side. Hes an experienced pro with the ability to create and score from midfield. Not many others like that in our squad unfortunately.

not me, the team doesnt score enough goals. Isnt it 17 in the league all season? Seams crazy to sell a goal scorer when we dont score enough goals. Injury to Benteke and then what are you going to do?

i wouldnt say hes the VT scapegoat, Id just say he hasnt played well, at all. I dont see whats wrong in pointing that out. I wouldnt sell him, I just wouldnt play him while hes not playing well. Look for a big improvement in training, maybe give him some reserve or cup outings.

Bowery should start both games for me. Our premier league survival is much more important and we should be able to make a few changes.

for me he isnt a patch on warnock, I have never believed the deliberate own goal b*llocks, Warnock was simply the scapegoat, I've lost track of the amount of mistakes I've seen Bennett make and I have no idea where people are seeing this potential. Is it just because hes young?
