    Would anyone take Luke Young back? not in harrys 25, I can remember him playing a number of times as a covering left back and doing well.

    We already have a lot more money than a number of other clubs. Aren't we in the top 6 spend over the last 5 or 6 years. We wouldn't consider any success "bought" now so why would a lot more money be any different.

    Now my anger has subsided I would make two requests. 1. Stop playing 352,it's killing us. Defence don't have a clue, midfield over ran, no width and no support for the front men. 2. Don't play bennett. Does anyone honestly believe he is better than warnock? Might be the worst player i have seen in a villa shirt.

    No but he should have had backups. We've been left short of experience and players in key areas. That is his responsibility.

    i dont see the potential. I keep seeing a poor player, poor decision maker, constantly caught out, not quick, not good on the ball. I remember two chances for him early in the second half. Lost of space and time to get a cross in, he failed both times. The only thing he has going for him is his age. Bring back Warnock.

    Passing the ball nicely but being one of the easiest teams in the league to beat is not progress.

    How is this guy so beyond criticism. We have one of the weakest squads seen at vp, one of the worst starts to a prem season seen at vp and one of the biggest defeats in our history. I like the loyalty shown but we need to buy experience or play our senior players.

    I'd rather have warnock or shorey. Both put in considerably more decent performances than Bennett has.

    I'd completely forgotten the 7 nil a few seasons ago, or the 8 arsenal let in last season. People will forget and move on. Most important is to stop it happening. This is possibly the most biggest failing of Lamberts young team. A few goals behind and the heads drop.

    I've seen nothing in Bennett or lichaj to make me think we were right to get rid of warnock. Both very poor this season, especially against chelsea.

    I'm going to go between 11th and 15th. Think theyll probably be 3 points between those positions at the end of the season. One massive concern is Benteke, only in the sense that we are as heavily dependant on one player as I've ever seen. Injuries to him and I think we are very serious relegation candidates.

    I believe that there is probably some 50 appearances fee. But not 6 million. 25% of the whole fee. Thats ridiculous. Surely stage payments will be based around a mix of appearances, goals, trophies, international caps. If there is some sort of appearance related fee, surely not playing him, ultimately costs you the same in the reduced fee you will receive as a result of your stance.

    Worth remembering that we were the draw Bradford wanted as well. They've got to the semi's by beating some decent teams, lets not start thinking were already there.

    just think its a pointless and silly argument. picking one managers best signing and comparing him to another managers worst. FWIW, Benteke and Lowton are the only Lambert players that would make it into one of MONs villa teams IMO.

    we badly need to start scoring goals and this guy in form can help with that. Have we now scored more league cup goals than in the league, we certainly seem to play with a lot less pressure.

    baffling post. I have no idea what Benteke has to do with MON?

    swapping guzan for given would be a massive waste of a sub. Given is still a great goalkeeper and Guzan needs a rest in the odd game. He has never been massively commanding, older more experienced keepers arent. They take the catch's they can take cleanly, no risks. Were one all, one sub down in a game that could last for 120 minutes, changing a keeper at half time is champ man stuff.
