  1. Huge blow, what's the latest on steer/kalinic. Weve got 4 senior keepers, we should have options here.
  2. I think Batshuayi would be a great signing.
  3. Two forwards now needed In this window, can we recall RHM
  4. Southgate has never rated him, in the under 21s he barely picked him, he wont take him to the euros, he just doesn't value that type of midfield player.
  5. Naaah, they play every day, that's not an excuse. He was either injured or he just didnt care. I'd buy a lack of match fitness if you're asking him to play 90 minutes. We didnt
  6. But surely that's relevant, he wasnt fit enough for 20 minutes, how do you want him to play 90. Was he injured, he looked very bad.
  7. Wow, that we terrible. He looked exhausted. Wed have been better without him.
  8. I feel the same, the turn around is absolutely incredible, we were nearly broke and possibly looking at playing league 1 football. Instead were back in the prem, weve given a great account of ourselves with a branch new team at some of the biggest stadiums in the country and we sell out every week. Keep going Dean, you have my support.
  9. Would be very surprised to see hause go on loan, it would make no sense. Only recently signed, has played the last couple, isnt likely to benefit playing elsewhere.
  10. Me as well, no point in us risking signings from european leagues that will need time to settle though. Wonder if we could get snodgrass back.
  11. It's the sort of signing I'd expect, were desperate and need players that can hit the ground running in the league and improve on the current crop. While I wouldnt personally go for drinkwater, I fully expect to see highly paid fringe players who need to restart their careers.
  12. Give our current crisis should we not be considering chester or does that tell us all we need to know?
  13. https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2019/december/28-december/west-ham-united-statement Looks like west ham have gone quickly
  14. I think this result will be the end of him. Wouldnt be my choice but it's hard to defend recent results and performances.
  15. Another option is Shane long, out of contract in the summer but Southampton have a price I'm sure. We need someone with his energy.
  16. I loved john Gregory...... I realise that obviously. I just dont think we would improve us enough to keep us up so what's the point. Without better wide players, he would resort to the same as wesley, desperately chasing the ball, isolated from the midfield. Hes not mobile enough to make a difference to our front 3 while we have trez and algazi. I'd rather see davies or kodija get a run.
  17. Barely threaten yesterday against a bottom 3 side with a fresh centre back pairing.
  18. But to put him in our team he has to do the role wesley has been. Be a direct threat, control balls smashed 40 yards down the pitch and bring others into play. Chase across the back 4. Pukki at villa wouldnt get to play like pukki at norwich IMO. Keinan seems to perform better because hes more mobile and our team needs a mobile striker.
  19. Reality is it's probably someone I havent heard of. I don't see prem teams selling to us and I'm not sure weve got much money to throw around due to ffp. I just wouldnt but an old striker, likely on big money that I dont think is better than we have
  20. A bit of reflection, i wonder if wes would improve with better wingers around him? Yesterday he burnt himself out chasing a ball across the front free when trez and Anwar offered no help. Often finding himself out of position and tired as a result. He barely got into the box and he cant really affect the game outside of it.
  21. Pukki isnt good enough to keep us up, he just looks a slightly better version than wesley. We need a much improved version of both.
  22. If we stay up it's literally because of him, that means hes worth about 100m a year to us.
  23. I'd take Cantwell like a shot, we need better than pukki, he couldn't even score past us.
  24. I've wanted to stay positive about wes but I'm struggling. Hes our most expensive striker, playing bottom of the league, at home and I dont recall an effort on or off target. Gets wont get easier for him.
  25. Hilarious Did you enjoy watching alex mcleish stick 11 men behind the ball? Did you enjoy steve bruce and his 30% possession while we try and get one on the break. Sounds like we have very different perspectives. I dont see surviving in the premier league as an achievement, I similarly find it ridiculous that you care solely about a result. Cant wait for you to bring back Whelan and jedinak, maybe if we draw every game we can finish 14th and pat ourselves on the back.
